It's good to be home, slathered in cats.

You can say that again!

Boo has been on my lap for about an hour.  Ricky slept in my arms for about 30 minutes earler tongiht.  Callie let me give her a hug (she's not real demonstrative)   I love the sound of slathered in cats...just how I feel !

DR Edisaurus,  I just visited the site.  Thank you for pointing it out to me.  I will be going back there often.

Hmmm, maybe Ricky is a red point javanese....not sure.  I'm guessing he's a bit of a mix but he has the right coloring and the plume tail

Thank you guys so much.

Miss Dixie Bell left this world at 2:15pm today.  I was right there beside her the whole time.  In the car, she laid her head on my lap.  At the vet's, I laid on the floor beside her.  She licked me once before she went.  I know that Dad greeted her somewhere beyond this plane.

Also today, as Mum was looking up a phone number in her book, a sheet of paper came out.  That sheet of paper was THE PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS.
While I was at the vet with Miss Dixie Bell, Mum gazed out into Dixie's yard and saw a flock of blackbirds.

DR td - Peace.

The salad I had for dinner for dinner is not agreeing with me. My stomach feels gaseous and bloated, and I feel quite uncomfortable and unhappy.

This is not good.

DR elmore - I hope your tummy is feeling better by now.

It's good to be home, slathered in cats.

Some people in NYC would pay good money for that.

Listening to the second half of our master - ravishingly beautiful in our new sound, but more importantly, it presents the score completely different to the way it's always been presented.

Watched a very funky and cute Japanese motion picture this evening.  Ate some fruit and some low-cal baked chips.

When I got home tonight and checked my mail, there was a delightful little package from DR MBarnum waiting for me in my mailbox!

Thanks, Mike! :D

Well, I need to get to bed (and sleep).  My sister asked if I could help her do some stuff tomorrow morning, and I said yes.  My birthday present to her was a day of handymanning.  Tomorrow's not going to be the official birthday gift day because I also signed up to work concessions for a local production of A Year With Frog and Toad.  It should be delightful.  The guy who played Rod in The Brain is playing Frog (he's the taller one on the left) and I don't doubt that he'll be great!
