Hi

So apparently that brain tumor that my mother said there was nothing to worry about may be something to worry about

She appears to have had a stroke although we have not been given a clear diagnosis after the battery of test s she has had, CAt scan, MRI , ultrasound, brain scan, etc etc

I will proabbaly not be around much for a while

In other bad news....Johnny Sheffield, Boy from the old Tarzan movies, passed away on Friday of a heart attack in Chula Vista, California.

He evidently was was trimming a tree and fell off the ladder. He later that day suffered a heart attack.

Found "Love Never Dies" at a used CD shop today along with the New York City Opera version of "Candide." I resisted buying the latter, because I have too many recordings of "Candide," but I finally decided to grab it because I saw the production.

I had the funniest thing happen this morning.  Somehow my radio alarm went from a rock station to a religious station.  Probably when I was cleaning or moving something, anyway,  the alarm went off and I was still mostly asleep.  I was dreaming that there was a minister giving a sermon, or a professor giving a speech and the people in the room got very bored and as he was talking eveyone started leaving.  Then I woke up and realized the voice was the guy giving a sermon on the radio.

Back from the commentary session, which was really fun!  Then we all hung out for a while and now I am home.  Too late to start a motion picture so I'll just play on the Internet.  I got some kind of weird error page when I tried to come directly to the board - I went to the notes and entered at the click-through at the end and that was fine.

Night everyone, I need to be in the car driving by 5:30AM, to get new tires.   The noise I've been hearing while driving has been the sound of the road on bald tires.   Who knew ?   Glad the guys at Toyota are used to my just driving in and saying "I hear a noise".  :-[

Glad I have some 300 movies, and some 300 cd's at home to watch and listen to. Looks like going anywhere for the next couple of months is not in my agenda.
