Well, the rice looks good.

It all looks good.  I don't know what the round things at the top are.

Well, the waiting is over.  Ricky has Ringworm and will begin lime/sulfur baths tomorrow.  He has to wear one of those cone collar things.  Poor guy.  He has no idea what he's in for.   And I have to sanitize my whole house.

Had I been around it would have been my guess.  I hope you don't catch it.  Once I got it from our new kitten and simply used the cat's cream and it cleared it right up.  I didn't have to do a lime bath or sanitize the house.  Maybe that is way it returned a couple of times until the cat got older.

We never did the baths. Once in a while we did a pill. Usually just the ointment.

We never used pills either.

Thanks George.

I had the most fun doing physical therapy than I have had in the last 10 1/2 months.  I had 6 days of warm humid weather to keep my shoulder loose and several days of swimming & snorkeling to exercise it.  I discovered I can even swim in a straight line using only my left arm.  I had expected to go in circles. :)

Not a very adventurous eater, though Betsy's tendency to "experiment" means I get to be, anyway.  :)  Last night she made homemade butternut squash ravioli with brown butter.  Yummy.
Funny, but a friend of mine made pumpkin tagliatelle and pumpkin ravioli with sage brown butter last night. Very similar. Fall must be in the air. Or sumthin'.

So I read last night that there is yet to be another incarnation of WISEGUYS/GOLD/AWAY WE GO/BOUNCE/ROAD SHOW, directed by John Doyle yet!  Maybe this will be the production that kills this one off once and for all...

Talk about flogging a dead horse!

I once dated that dead horse.

You and Catherine the Great!

Back from all my errands and now I'm off to dinner at Gabriel's on West 60th.

Catherine's horse was alive when they dated.

Back from a sandwich and onion rings.  Important envelope STILL hasn't arrived - I was assured it was sent but told the holiday might have slowed things down - to which I say horse manure.  I doesn't take six days for an envelop to get from Texas to here - not unless the USPS sits on the mail and decides not to deliver it for a few extra days.  Something I would believe, actually.
I've been waiting on a check to be delivered from across town. Was told it was mailed Oct. 7. I haven't seen it yet.

Guess I'll start getting ready for the commentary session, which begins at six and should hopefully be over by seven or seven-thirty.

The dinner was truly scrumptious: buffalo mozzarella and tomatos, scallops, roasted potatoes and pear tomatoes, and a lucious rice pudding. I'm ready for bed. Blame it on the gin and tonic.

I really don't think I need to sanitize the whole house, Ricky has only been in the bedroom.  I've been using the cream for a week and it doesn't seem to be getting better, it's a little worse today.  I've read a lot about the baths and decided to try it.  The vet wants him to take meds, I don't really want to do that, but we'll see how it goes.  I am going to clean one room a night.  I'm not going to necessarily use bleach on every surface, but I will deep clean.  I figure it can't hurt.

I haven't gotten it yet, but every time I feel an itch or see a little mark on my skin I start thinking I've got it.

If you catch it early the cream should clear it right up.
