While driving to the hospital for CR, I heard the tail end of today's Fresh Air with Terry Gross on NPR. Tomorrow's guest is Stephen Sondheim talking about his new book.

As expected, i did NOT win the Ebb award, but with hearing the work of some of the people who made the final list of eight, I'm kind of thrilled that i made it to that level.

I can't say who the winner is because that won't be revealed until the season finale, i mean until the Ebb people do their press release - but it's someone really great (who's done an album with BK), and I was at first surprised that he's still considered an up-and-coming writer, as opposed to someone who's already made it. But a terrific choice, since he obviously met the criteria from a commercial point of view.

I haven't read "Me & Emma" by Elizabeth Flock? After reading far too many, our club tries to avoid stories about dysfunctional families. If you read the book please let me know if you like it.
