HHW is very slow this evening.

Actually I meant the time it takes to post rather than my usual complaint about the lack of posts

I was reading thru all of last evenings posts, and I kept reading about acceptance vibes for John G.  For a while, I thought he had come out of the closet, rather than applied to grad school.

Jack, you rascal!  I was reading one of my case files at work today when I cam across the information that you were the absent parent for one of our foster children.

I don't think this is a still from any of DR MBarnum's fave films!

Oh, I don't know, the guy on the far left is a possible date for Mr. Barnum.

I would like to own his bathrobe.

The humidity here is truly god-awful. I may have to turn on the air conditioning. I live for the first snowfall.

I did turn my AC on, DR elmore.  It's awful here too.

Jrand, did you enjoy the exhibit?  Did you get to see John Jacob Astor's cuff links?

If they were the onyx with diamonds....yes I did.

Enjoyed it very much....very sad....so many of the people had been scheduled to go on other ships - the Majestic and Oceanic - but because of the coal strike, they were transferred to the Titanic.

I had an envelope of things for the store on Monday.....now it is no where to be seen.  I think I may have thrown it away.  I won't look for it anymore.....it is gone.

My question for ASK BK day.....other than the Partridge Family expedition, have you ever been on a ocean voyage?

DR JANE - and others - if you have a current eyeglass prescription, you can get a nice pair of glasses for a reasonable price here.

www.eyebuydirect.com

The glasses have measurements, and you can measure a current pair for a good fit for your face....I usually get the "medium" size glasses.

I have a piece of Titanic coal that I bought when they first brought it up in 1994 or so.

They had some more at the exhibit, so I bought a piece for my sister......it is very sad to think about....but it is the ONLY artifact that is for sale.

Back from finessing mixes - got seven tracks done, thirteen to go.  I'm glad I played tough on this one and made the composer go back and record some vocals again, plus replace the entire original guitar track with one by our very own Mr. Grant Geissman.  It made all the difference in the world and now it's starting to sound very clean and punchy and like a - well - Kimmel album.

Then I had my first lunch at In and Out - just had a burger.  Then I met Joan Ryan at the studio cafe and we split some nachos, which were really good and had no beef.  Not all that much and we did split precisely in half, so not too too terrible.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I wish I could purchase online.  Most frames are too large to fit.  My current frame is for children.  Then I need progressive lenses with a special ratio.

One of life's mysteries:  Are some people under the impression that GLEE is a show for the entire family?

I finally figured out what has been wrong with my love life, lately.  This morning in the shower, I noticed that my conditioner is labeled, "EXTRA STRAIGHT."
