At least the kids get to wear whatever costume they like at their schools (friday).

Luckily there is no school here on Monday for my niece. Although some malls are dong indoor trick or treating during the day. That sounds appealing!

I like that.

As it is everybody is fighting to stay home with the baby (too cold for her to go out).  Usually people would be fighting to go out.

I bet.  I usually wanted to go out and Keith was happy to stay home.

There may be a bit of snow tonight for the first time.

I'm sort of afraid to look outside.

Maybe no kids will come to my sister's house and I can eat her chocolate bars.

I am the opposite. I would like to wait as long as possible.

Thanks for the vibes Jennifer.  I watched the video and set up to begin the injections & decided to wait until tomorrow.  I wanted to begin tonight, however, the kit is set up to begin on a Sunday.  I figure for two years it would bother me to have the kit begin at the end of the week instead of the beginning.

I haven't bought any trick or treat candy yet because I didn't want it in the house.  We'll stop on our way home from church.

I got a lot of the wall paper off of the walls in the room I'm going to redo.  It looks like someone redid the ceiling at some point.  I'm hoping it wasn't water damage, then the floor may be bad under the rug.

Tomorrow I need to go to Lowe's they are having a big sale on area rugs.  If I can find the right rug I'll take my colors from it.  They have 5x8 area rugs starting at $68!

Well into the 4th quarter and, finally, Michigan decides to start playing football.

After reading about it here, I tried Priceline for the first time tonight to get a rental ca for LA. I put in a bid for $25 a day, and then decided to lower it to $20, and got it! That's way lower than even my USAA 40% discount. Yay! HHW membership has its privileges!

We had actress Chrisse Roccaro (mentioned in BK's Jewish Review article) and hubby over tonight for dinner to give them the LOVE LETTERS scripts and to catch up.  We also inaugurated two of the four fireplaces.  Everything is cozy-wozy, though I noticed a little scratch on one of the walls and am struggling to find the right color in the paint cans left behind.  It's weird how paint dries to a completely different color than it goes on wet.

Zach leaves for Outdoor School tomorrow.  This is a Portland tradition--a week away at a camp for sixth graders where they learn about the environment.  Gabe absolutely hated every second of it, Zach can't wait.  :)

I have it on good authority that the AAA rate for cars in LA is $15/day.

Tonight, I went to the wedding of my friends, Tim and Ingrid.  They had a lovely ceremony with what looked like an audience of more than three hundred people!  The wedding started at 5:00, went for about a half hour, then the reception was still going on when I left at 10:15!  It was a lot of fun and I got to sit with friends (I'm not a mingler)...we, the couple's theater friends, were all at three tables in one corner of the room and we had a lot of fun.  It was great catching up with some of them.

Here's a direct link to the BBC iPlayer with Beverley's show and my review of La Cage. It's about 32 minutes into the show. Beverley plays a clip from Phantom (with Sara Brightman and Cliff Richard) and then introduces me.

Click on the picture of Beverley to play the show.

Good job, Ben!
