For TAR fans here.

Apparently this is why there was no speedbump shown last night:

This is to clarify things about Nick & Vicky's Speed Bump Issue...

Nick and Vicki did not have a speed bump due to a production error. The error was they had gotten the music order right sooner than they were given credit for, this was discovered during the pit stop. ...To rectify the error, they were not given a speedbump and all teams started at the circus at the same time. This should have been explained at the start of the show.

Please give DRs Jason and Singdaw a hug and kiss for me.

Will do!

I look forward to seeing them and learning what's going on. The six men recording are all good friends of mine, sharp and funny, and I think they'll get along great together. I love and adore Ms Luker, aka Mrs Burstein, and it should be a lot of fun.

Give all of them a hug and kiss for me!

DITTO!

Back from listening to the mix - the composer only asked for really nitpicky changes - they were simple and quick and we did them.  Then I listened to some tapes for what I hope will be our next release.  If we've got everything I think we have, it's going to blow people away.  I'll know in a day or two.

About time to head down to the Loesser office. I've had a profitabe morning doing various tidy-up jobs about the apartment. I'm having a little lunch and heading out.

Would that be Moore or Loesser?

There's something oddly symbiotic here....Moore or Loesser!

Sorry!  I posted too soon.

We are home from the vet.  She's telling me he needs to go in for one more dip.  I told her the dip is making me sick.  Well, it could be that.  Anyway, we did agree that I'll call Monday and if the culture she took last week is still negative (so far so good), we'll wait and see  if the culture she took today is negative before doing more. (you're supposed to get 2 negatives before stopping)  Then, he'll get neutered....THEN the poor guy will be done.

Listening to the original soundtrack album of what we'll be our  next release - very interesting in that most of the cues on the album seem to be from the second half of the film, save for the main title.  So, I'm now fairly certain we'll have some cues from the beginning half - at least that's the hope.  The soundtrack has 13 cues, two of which are songs.  So, only eleven score cues.  We have thirteen boxes of 1/2 inch tape - now some of these tapes only have two or three cues on them (multiple takes) so it's really hard to know at this point - but thankfully there are cue numbers for everything, so it should be not too difficult to assemble everything in film order.

On my way back from the Loesser office I waited for about 15 minutes for the 104 bus at Eighth Avenue and 46th Street, the second stop the bus makes on its way uptown. Sometimes I hate this city; I was waiting in front of the Sept 2010 MTA bus schedule, telling me the buses arrived every six minutes!

TOD:

Best breakfast I ever had was a breakfast pizza made by the staff of Sam Morgan's Clubhouse Grill, now Mulligan's Clubhouse Grill, when I was employed there.

Homemade dough, ranch dressing, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, green peppers, onions, cheddar & mozzarella cheese.

More pizza joints should be offering this type of pizza (even though it wasn't on our menu).

And you are on the poster where you belong!

I was surprised to see my name on the poster and to find the photos of the band parts with the review.

Wow, I'm very proud to have written a "middling" score :)  It sounds like they didn't read my preface to the script - which emphatically says that no one should make fun of their characters or put quote marks around what they're doing - that the straighter they play, the funnier it is.

And I do hope all the references to "Zoni" are a typo by the reviewer, since the name of the character is Yoni.  Elmore, if they've changed the name, you may want to inform them that it doesn't please the authors and that it puts them in breech of their agreement with Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Wish I could be with you to see it and to hear the middling score.
