I really hate the style right now, where you wear your clothes a size too small.  Like the lady in the red sweater on the coldwater creek website.  I want to say, you should try the next size....and by the way, tuck your shirt in, it's sticking out underneath your jacket

Well some people have to wear their clothes a size too small. :)

I feel like I must look like this with some of my fitted coats.  Unless my bust grew I feel like a few of my stylish ones are quite fitted.

That's different from spending a lot of money on new clothes that look too small... many of my clothes are too tight right now too, but I didn't buy them that way

It's not me that got big - it's the clothes that got small.  Yeah, that's what i'm saying from now on.

The cat's in the bag....literally.   Boo is in the bag.  Ricky is in the cube.  They sat like that for at least 15 minutes without making a sound.  It made me laugh

Vibes of safety and comfort to DR JOSE! My impression was that they didn't actually succeed in getting inside. Is that right?

DR Jeanne - I hope not. It looks like they might have broken the glass in order to reach inside and open the door. ??? However, the landlord checked with everyone in the building, and no one reported anything suspicious last night. Frankly, I think it might have been one of the teenage kids of the tenant on the fourth floor.  They tend to really "like" their weekends, if you get my drift.

Have decided to introduce brownies to ice cream.  I think they may get along really well.

I spent the evening watching the Swedsh film Let The Right One In, which I enjoyed, but not so much as the book. The film is stylish and elegant with jabs of violence and blood, but it also omitted completely one of the book's sequences involving a major character's becoming a vampire and the situation's relationship to a police detective investigating the murders. In fact, the police detective is completely missing from the film.

Still, the cast is excellent and I found it interesting putting people and places into th context of what I'd read.

And tonight's bad news: my bathroom sink has a bad leak and I don't know when I can ask the super to come in and take care of it.

I had the greatest time at Comic Con today.

I sold more books in one day than I have ever sold anywhere.

And, not just the memoir.  I had 5 different titles with me and sold 2 of them out completely.

I am a very happy camper.

 :)
Glad to learn that since I stood you up.

Bacon Creme Anglaise? Sounds delicious, DR Jose. Reminds me of the Candied Bacon Apple Pie I made last year. It's about time for another.

Is Coldwater Creek a women's clothing store?  I think they are the ones that send me all of the emails about various sales.

LOL!

We had a large and appreciative audience for BK, many laughs were had, and BK sold a lot of books.  :)

Jane and I have returned, as Jane has an early flight and I am still sick as a dog from this friggin' cold.  BK, Mike and George are continuing the party with various and sundried others.

Speaking of spring weather.  I found out today that it will really never get below 70 degrees (all year long during the daytime) in Ventura.  And I was hoping for a cold holiday.                               Oh well.  8)
