I have had a bad crick in my neck for the past three days. Even trying to work through it at Pilates didn't help. I finally found the heating pad and am heading off to try that out.

DR Druxy - Where is your computer repair taking place? An Apple Store? If so, you're computer down time may only be for a day or two, maybe even just a couple of hours.  It's a "good" sign that they're ordering the part. This way, once you bring you're computer back in, all they have to do is replace the drive. -Which, as I know from experience, shouldn't take no more than an hour anyway.

It IS at an Apple Store, but they say it could be 3-5 days turnaround.  In the meantime, I have the computer until the part comes in.

I believe "3-5 days" is the standard party line, so to speak. When my motherboard blew out a few years ago, I was told it would take a week. It only took 36 hours. And when I had the top-plate replaced on my MacBook last year, the quoted turnaround time was "24 hours". My computer was ready for pick-up 45 minutes after I left The Apple Store. -Hopefully, that will bode well for your repair.

I sure hope you are right.

 :)

I've been over to Cafe 82 for a yummilicious breakfast and I've put the laundry into the washers. Time to make the bed and vacuum.

Is that where you and I had breakfast? I love that place.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I believe I threw my back out last night during the course of a coughing fit. Alas, since I've never thrown my back out, I'm not really sure I have. But something is a-twinging. ???

Careful, ribs can also get bruised coughing that hard.

I am fortunate enough to have a son who knows from computers and was able to make a house call to fix my Mac.  :-)  He also was able to install the church laptop to the printer to run wirelessly.

:)  I'm lucky to live with a computer expert.  There have been times when Keith wasn't around & Bryan walked be through problems.  Now he wouldn't have the time.

Jose what is the name of the restaurant we ate lunch at in DC?  I was talking to Craig about the areas I've been to and the places I've eaten at.  That is the only one I can't remember, only that we went there from the library.  Where did I meet you for the play?

DR George I'm sorry people let during your show.

Thanks Jane, but fortunately, the only people who left actually during the show had a medical reason.  That's a good reason to leave.  And there's no way to tell why the other people left at intermission.  They could've had valid reasons to leave a show...or not. :-X

I just popped in to ketchup before leaving for our matinee.  I just have to take a shower, dress in my black clothes, then leave for the theater.

I agreem but I think it's a bit drastic to threaten criminal charges in the first letter they send out. Especially when I don't recall being given a procedure to tell them when t was done

I wouldn't worry about people leaving at intermission, George.  I will confess to leaving a show for reasons having nothing to do with the quality of the performance

I do believe I'm up.  I was in bed wondering if it was nine yet - I got up and it was eleven-thirty.  And THAT was just the kind of sleep I needed - I fell asleep around two.

I was lumping them all into one category, true they didn't all walk out which is a positive way to look at it. :)
