TOD:I am still in the middle of our very own DR Druxy's book as well as actor Gary Kent's book. Have not had even a moment to continue with either book in weeks, unfortunately
I watched ATTACK OF THE CRAB MONSTERS which arrived at my house today....in the 2-Disk Roger Corman set.The commentary was okay - and the good news is that now you can see the movie clearly. The bad news is - as you may imagine - now you can see the movie clearly.
Picked up a new book on Northern Great Plains folklore and folkways. One of the authros I had as a professor for several classess over the years. I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my contributions to the folklore database he has used in the book. I noted my name in the back of the list of collectors whose work he used.
Mostly now, she nets and tags them and I photograph for documentation.Because of her work, Arizona is getting quite a bit of recognition.
And over 90 other books on my Sony E-Reader.
Am having to take drug tests for prospective jobs. Wonder how it would register on the charts.
I'm reading The Lacuna. Don't love it-don't hate it. I'm about 1/2 way through.

Could use a few vibes for positive resolution to legal matters
TOD:Nothing nearly so grand as the rest of you...but more personal and meaningful:I'm reading the postings to this here forum.
DR JohnG, many job interview vibes for you!

Was it the Kindle you replaced it with?I never bought the Nook. I just tried it in the store. I have a Sony e-reader and I love it. It's very easy to use (it has a touch screen). It has wi-fi and it's easy to load books, categorize them and read them. I can make notes and there is a dictionary (there is more than one but I use the English dictionary). I can also play music if I want to (thought that uses more battery power).
I love my Kindle. The DP has a Nook, he likes that also.
Quote from: FJL on January 20, 2011, 05:57:13 AMI recall loving the novelization of HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS.I have actually seen that book before....It is rumoured that there is a movie version in the works with Johnny Depp playing Barnabas. I do recall the version from the early 1990s with Ben Cross as Barnabas. I felt the show never got a chance to really find an audience On the subject of novelizations, a number of shows novelized their scripts inluding Days, Another World, Guidnig Light, ATWT and the Doctor Who Series I have quite a few DW ones
I recall loving the novelization of HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS.

The other day when we went to Best Buy (I'm very happy we finally have one) I saw Kindles for sale & was surprised it had a keyboard. I didn't even bother picking it up.
