I don't know what universe the errant and truant are living in, but I live on a little planet called Earth and page two at four-thirty my time will not do.  This is, in fact, disgusting.  It's not a holiday.

I have not stopped once today.  Orders have been flying in and I can barely keep up.  I'd gotten everything printed before I went to rehearsal, and when I came back there were over 185 more orders to print.

Rehearsal was fun.  We've reconceived the staging with Linda on a stool - and we're having some patter fun about the cast on her leg.  It will work fine.

I grabbed a sandwich, proofed a few pages, and forgot I have to go see a show tonight, which I'd really rather not.

The New York Times even covered the Christina Aguilera flub

Very good, Fred!  And you hit the notes.

DR FJL - thanks for the parody.  What made Christina's flub even more shocking to me was the video that we'd just received from our niece of her son's kindergarten class singing the national anthem at a high school basketball game Friday night.  They got all the words right.

;D  I bet they rehearsed.

I am back from the hospital, where I had every woman's favorite screening procedure.  I could have just stayed home, stuck my chest in the freezer, and had Richard lean on the door, but that wouldn't have told my doctors anything.  Not that I expect there to be anything TO tell them, it was just time.

T.O.D.

I used to wish that I could get a signed first-edition of Walter Lord's A NIGHT TO REMEMBER.  However, since I purchased the sgined leather-bound edition of the book, I no longer need to have a first edition.  I am very sorry that Mr. Lord's signature was so ravaged by the effects of Parkinson's by then, but I take comfort that I was able to get it before he passed away.

We had quite a wind storm last night and into this morning.  I kept hoping the power would go out and my alarm would not go off.

After the Super Bowl, I watched GLEE.  I thought it was a nice episode with some good things to say about the effects of bullying.  And I liked the fact that they didn't have a sugar-coated ending where the bully became totally transformed.

We were Region 5, but we will now be part of Region 3, which will go from Tacoma and Bremertion to the north; all the way down to the Columbia River that divides Washington and Oregon.

Nicky ate his dinner when I came home, asked for a handful of cookies, and then he went to bed.

I have been suffering through a "minor" MRSA outbreak for the last several days.  So far it hasn't swelled up; which is good since it is on my right boob.

I am thinking that it may heal without seeing the doctor.
