I am off to City Center. My stay there depends on how much work there is to be done.

BK, I'm happy to hear the shows went well yesterday. I think this may be the same series that Gregg Edelman asked me about.

Welcome from the plane. Just got on board. No wifi during the flight, though.

Laproscopic surgery. I have a highly bruised navel and two other entry/exit points which are covered with bandages at this point. I can't get them wet for two days so I shall have sponge baths for the time being.

Interesting--appendix scars have now gone the way of the dial telephone.

It is simply bee-yoo-tee-full outside.  My friend here in the office took me for a ride around Conshohocken looking for a Philadelphia Pretzel Factory location (we didn't find it--it's in Plymouth Meeting, next township over...)

And tomorrow is suppose to be warmer yet!

For those of you who would like to order it early, Sondheim's second book,  Look, I Made a Hat: Collected Lyrics (1981-2011) with Attendant Comments, Amplifications, Dogmas, Harangues, Wafflings, Diversions and Anecdotes, is available for pre-order on Amazon. (It ships in October.)

I think I managed to get three hours of sleep which is better than no hours of sleep.  At the airport gift shop I got some Afrin, as recommended, and just squirted two shots in each nostril and hopefully that will help for the next twelve hours.

Good!!  Never fly without it in case you have problems again.

Morning all.

I'm looking forward to the next fews day for relaxation and sleep. I don't have pain but I'm sore and sitting down and getting up puts pressure on the spot so I have to be careful how I move, otherwise all is progressing well.

Good morning, DR Ben! I'm glad you got through the night okay. I think Anthony and I were both a bit worried that you had come home too early.

DITTO!  I think lots of us were concerned you went home too soon.

BK, am so glad the Linda and Greg show went well....I am so looking forward to Linda's show in April...wish Greg was going to be part of it...I would very much enjoy hearing him sing...actually, just looking at him would likely be enjoyable...but with singing, doubly so.

There will be a guy with Linda at her show in Salem, but I am not familiar with him. Len Lessack is his name.

Looks like he is ignoring the non-Broadway stuff in his career, or at least the title suggests that since "Evening Primrose," to cite just one example, is before that. Wonder if "Singing Out Loud" will be included, too.

Volume I (p 323) states: "...volume two in the chapters on Sunday in the Park With George and Evening Primrose.

And what about the single songs, like the stuff he added to "Hot Shot" or "The Boy From ..." from "The Mad Show"? And the early pre-Broadway shows, several songs of which have now been recorded?
