That was our first dog Romanov who eventually roamed off. :(
I loved the outfit I'm wearing and wore the top years after the pants lost their elasticity.  Because I remember when we purchased this (I didn't get new clothes very often back then) I remember well how often I was told I was too fat.  And I believed them!

I have seen parts of Attack of the Puppet People. I always fall asleep.

You should just skip to the exciting part.

He means the end credits.

Keith was scanning in old photos.  I love this one of us.  Unfortunately he can't improve the quality but I'll give it a try.

It looks like Keith really robbed the cradle!

It was worse in high school.  Sometimes he got dirty looks when we were out.  Now he has his revenge because he has his mother's skin and looks better than I do.

CACTUS FLOWER is a favorite movie of my buddy Mark. He made me watch it shortly after we met some years back...that and BLAZING SADDLES.

CACTUS FLOWER I enjoyed, BLAZING SADDLES I never finished, and never plan to.

I am surprised, MBarnum, that you did not like BLAZING SADDLES.  Any particular reason?

I guess I just don't get Mel Brooks. I have yet to find any Mel Brooks movie that I liked.

Have you seen YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN?

MBarnum I'm waiting for your response.

Then I ran proofer one's suggestions by Muse Margaret - we did a few and didn't do many because, as always, Muse Margaret will never allow anything to harm the voice of the book, even if it's more correct grammatically.   And I have to agree in every single instance, because the more correct version is always stilted or formal and that's not me and that's not the Hofstetter books.

You know, I was watching an episode of SOLDIERS OF FORTUNE yesterday, and in the credits was a gal named Margaret Muse.

What a coinkydink...The Manhattan Transfer recorded a song called "Soldier of Fortune."

Just had to share. :)

I like the funny cats clip except some of the cats were obviously, or carelessly, set up to fall and they could have been injured.  Cats can break if they don't have time to right themselves before hitting the ground.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but I wondered about some of them.  The early ones that I did see were pretty funny, though.

You post this almost eight minute clip of cats for us to watch; and then tell us that you didn't watch the whole thing?

The one that worried me was the cat who caused the light to fall into the aquarium.  They are lucky that the cat (or the fish) didn't get electrocuted.

There was another cat who fell into an aquarium.  These should have been protected.  There was the cat that easily fell through the window screen.  Some people seemed to pile boxes up just for the cat to fall.  All of these are dangerous.  We had a kitten that fell off of the pile of laundry in Keith's arms and broke his leg.

We are back from Jungle Jim's and Books-a-Million and Rei (age 7) opted to stay with us while his dad went to the hospital to visit my aunt.  He's trying to do homework, but I think would rather be playing with Rob's old remote controlled car that I found in the basement.

I'm sure this revival of CACTUS FLOWER is being timed to capitalize on the film JUST GO WITH IT starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, which is (as I'm sure will be clearly stated in the ads for the play) a remake of CACTUS FLOWER.

Thank you, DR MBarnum.  I'm off now to take the cousins out for some fun - Jungle Jim's here we come!  Bye for now!

Looks like a fun market for a seven year old. :)

It was fun for his 50-year-old dad and 60-year-old second cousin, too!  Dan's going to cook a Japanese dinner for us tomorrow and found everything he needs.
