Packing vibes for Jose. I certainly don't envy you that task. But if you have the CDs done, I guess progress has been made.

Good Afternoon!

Just taking a brief break from box-land. It all looks very doable. As long as I remind myself just to place things in boxes and not start to get sentimental and start sorting through every piece of paper, well... in the meantime.

Breathe...

Oops, I also forgot to log out when I left for my exercise class.  Came home and went right downstairs to do my 30-minute walk while my muscles were warmed up.

Did he possibly knock it off of a table or something?

I did this over a year ago and was in the progress of looking for it when I had my accident, which ended the hunt for it.  Of course I can't stop thinking about it.

Well, there are some bad hamantaschen out there. Sometimes there's too much cookie. Sometimes the cookie part is just plain bad. Sometimes the fillings are too congealed. Etc., etc., etc... But when you get a good one... YUM!

LOL I think the majority of them are bad.

As mentioned previously, my friend and I went to see Roslyn Kind yesterday.  She's a really good singer.  It's a shame she's always compared to her sister, "Barbra Brolin," as she jokingly refers to her.  She does a little bit where she starts to sing People and then goes into "I've Gotta Be Me."  I think it addresses the elephant in the room, so to speak.

Cute opening.

KevinH-  Do you get the sense that Ms. Kind would have stood out as a performer to have been a bigger star had she not had a famous sister?

I've been watching interviews & listening to her sing.  I think she might have been a bigger star:

I got up at eight-thirty but then went right back to bed and slept another hour.  I was asleep by eleven-thirty so that's over nine hours of sleep and boy did it feel good - although I had some completely weird dreams.

We had a few more orders this morning, and I awoke to an e-mail offering some Kritzerland assistance that was very touching and sweet - hoping we don't have to take advantage of it, but it's really comforting to know it's being offered.

TOD: Just about the whole score for "Little Shop"
"Just Around the River Bend"
"Never Again" from "King David"
"Little Patch of Heaven" from "Home on the Range"
"Under the Sea"
"Kiss the Girl"
"Beauty and the Beast"

I've been trying to find our last uptempo song for a guy and didn't know Little Patch of Heaven - it seems very bouncy and fun from the snippet I just heard, so it looks like it might end up being that or You've Never Had a Friend Like Me.  Otherwise, lots of the listed songs are in our Menken show.

So it'll be back to no internet at home.  I had bought that ipad-like thing called Xoom, but took it back. I don't think I'd get my money's worth from it.  But it was nice having it for two weeks. I wasn't happy with having to sign a two-year contract.  I found out you don't need a contract with the ipad.   I did have to pay a $70 restocking fee , though.

Yikes! :o Having to pay $70 NOT to keep something. :P
