Well, you've read the notes, the notes were less trying than yesterday, and now it is time for you to post until the trying cows come home.

I'm listening to Part 2 of a BBC program on

George Formby Episode 2

Vixdad might know who he was and I'm sure Pogue knows of him but I think to much of the world, especially the U.S., he's forgotten. He's a fascinating character.

Here is the link to Episode 1

Good morning, all! I am styarving and I cannot eat until my tests after 9am. I have to b to my ihealth provider's office on 71st Street by 8:45. After the tests, I will head down to Toyland and see my accountant and pick up my taxes. I'd like to mail them tomorrow.

After that, I'm off to City Center, were we have an orchestra with cast runthrough of WHERE'S CHARLEY? I'll help Joshie get ready however I can, and then I return back here to see what new fresh hell awaits me. I am still puzzling over those missing scores.

DR elmore - I hope you have/had a good doctor's appointment, a good time at CIty Center, and that those missing scores will present themselves when you walk back into your apartment later.

No weird dreams last night, but then it took me a long time to fall asleep.  I think I'll stop looking at the news before bedtime for a while...

Tuesday morning greetings!  Aaaahhh, that's better - for the first time since the time change I did not have to have my alarm set for what seemed like the middle of the night (5:30 Sunday, 6am yesterday).  I went to sleep very early last night and just got up about an hour ago, much refreshed.  About an hour from now I'll go up to the senior center for my second strength training class with Cheryl.

Greetings from the rubble of Toyland! I am having some coffee and a bit if brekfast. The tests were quickly accomplished and the trek here was quite smooth.  I am waiting for my accountant's office to open so I can pick up my taxes.

Thank you all for the vibes and wishes concerning the missing full scores. I've lost the Overture and the big hit song from EILEEN, "The Irish Have A Great Day Tonight," other than "Thine Alone." I swear that I had the Irish number last week, and maybe I never hadthe Overture. I think a leprechaun has stolenit from my apartment to prepare for March 17. So, I guess I see an imminent trip to the Library of Congress in the next week.

I am reading "Monster" by John Gregory Dunne about a writing a script about Jessica Savitch....and how it turned out 8 years later to be something quite different.

Very interesting.

Greetings from Sarasota's airport!  It's one of the few airports left with free wi-fi, I think.

As mentioned previously, my friend and I went to see Roslyn Kind yesterday.  She's a really good singer.  It's a shame she's always compared to her sister, "Barbra Brolin," as she jokingly refers to her.  She does a little bit where she starts to sing People and then goes into "I've Gotta Be Me."  I think it addresses the elephant in the room, so to speak.

It's been a whirlwind of a trip, but a terrific one.

So it'll be back to no internet at home.  I had bought that ipad-like thing called Xoom, but took it back. I don't think I'd get my money's worth from it.  But it was nice having it for two weeks. I wasn't happy with having to sign a two-year contract.  I found out you don't need a contract with the ipad.   I did have to pay a $70 restocking fee , though.

The cleaners came Saturday and cleaned my carpet, walls, windows,e tc.  They're finally cleaning out the storage room where the fire occurred.  So I hope the rewiring will start soon afterwards, so my cable, internet and landline phone service will be restored.

DR elmore-- I read once that missing items are usually within 18 inches of where they should be.  Not sure if that applies in your case!
