The Insulation Guys should be here soon.

I need to get my attic closet space re-insulated.  But I dread having to pull everything out and piling it up somewhere while the work is being done.

Hmmm... I just learned that THE SNOOP SISTERS dvd set has been out since March 15 but is currently unavailable at Amazon.  It's also on the pricey side at $35.99 for just five episodes on three discs.  I'll have to think this one over...

Heck, it's too late for her to even be a new grandmother, isn't it?

Luckily, we have only a crawl space, so we have no junk stored there.

Hopefully the amputation of her leg will not mean that she doesn't recognize her new child.

(A reference to a long ago joke of mine which went over like a lead balloon here at HHW.  That of course has never stopped me before, and it ain't about to stop me now).

I would not miss American Idol OR Survivor if either or both shows were taken off tomorrow.

We love, love, love Modern Family, and in fact it's a show all four of us watch together.

My dental check-up went well and I'm home from errands.

Remember when Richard, Rob, and I all applied for passports on March 16 and the clerk looked askance at my Oregon birth certificate?  Well, 2/3 of our household has received their passports - can you guess who has NOT?

I don't think my mother missed an episode of either soap between 1970 and 1994 when she died.

There's probably an investigation on you beginning once they stop wasting time and money on Obama's birthplace.

The pdf for (Spencer) TRACY has been uploaded to Create Space.

The corrected proof of (Carole) LOMBARD is in the mail to me.

And, now I'm starting to type into the computer and format (Clark) GABLE.

Wheew!

In other breaking--literally--news, we have huge Bali blinds in our living room.  Because I am an idiot (technical term), when we first moved in, I thought the "wand" which makes the blinds cantilever open and closed (as opposed to drawing them like curtains) was a "twisty" wand.  It turns out it's a "push up, pull down" wand.  So of course I broke it.  I managed to cobble it together last year with regular tape, but it broke again yesterday.  I have now moved on to duct tape, which will also help in case the blinds are attacked by terrorists.  :)

Okay, everybody sing...

Some people live with humongous windows,
Right in the middle of a busy street.
These people long for some window treatments,
With which they know they'll be more discrete.

Bali blinds will shield you,
Ev'ry night, ev'ry day.
In your house, from nosy neighbors,
Hide away, hide away...

That's funny!  Good job, Dan!

Prayers for the friend of DR JOHNG.

Thanks and thanks to all for the vibes, support and prayers. I haven't heard since yesterday, so I would assume he's stable.

Continued vibes!!!

Heck, it's too late for her to even be a new grandmother, isn't it?

I suppose she could become a grandmother using this method.  I hope it is too late for her to become a mother-poor kid if it happens.

The latest news on my friend Richard is that he was able to respond nonverbally to a directive from the doctor, which is the first they've known he is alert. He's nowhere near being out of the woods, but that's certainly a good start.

And again, thanks for the vibes.
