DR ELMORE I think Florida played Dobie's mother in the series.

I thought she played an aunt, but I realize now there was also a series that had two aunts and I think Doro Merande played one of them. Oy! I am not aging gracefully.

That was BRINGING UP BUDDY,  DR ELMORE.....with the multi talented Mr Frank Aletter in the title role.

The other aunt was Enid Markey!

And I still remember and get a chuckle from the "Saturday Night Live" skit about the creation of "You've Got a Friend".  :)

Barry is great in the show - the show is the problem, and I've seen it and from all accounts it really hasn't changed at all.  But apparently baby boomers go and love that they're hearing oldies and get real excited.  I have never understood this phenomenon, especially when it's attached to poorly done shows.  Go play a record, it's a lot cheaper than seeing a B'way show.
It's not as loud as rock concert to hurt their fading hearing. Yet it feels like a rock concert that they can sit through. And yes, it's as tired as it sounds.

I wish I had better news on the scared dog that has been lost for 3 1/2 months.  I hope she is caught today.  The owners have put clothes around the ravine she is in, maybe their scent will help.  I have a great amount of admiration for all the volunteers out there trying to catch her.  Following is a link to the latest update:

From DR George:
Thanks, Jane...we did!  The energy of the audience was a bit low, but the show itself went over quite well

:)  Vibes your next shows are great with an audience to match.

That's a tense story DR JANE

I just pray all this tension results in a happy ending.  I realize the dog is scared but it must really hurt the people she won't come, unless she can't hear them calling.

I'm not at all surprised at the reaction to WONDERLAND.  Has Wildhorn ever been attached to anything that was successful either commercially or artistically?
