Yes.  It's not a high ceiling, but it's still standing on a ladder/stool and scrubbing over my head.  Not fun.

From DR George
Quote
As for tonight's show...we had probably our best audience!  They were loud and they loved all the jokes.

:D

Vibes for large happy audiences!

Thanks, Jane!  Tonight (I'm leaving very shortly), we have two, count 'em, TWO shows!  I hope that we make it through the midnight show!

This is making the rounds among my Facebook friends:

What's your royal wedding guest name? Start with either Lord or Lady. Your first name is one of your grandparents' names. Your surname is the name of your first pet, double-barreled with the name of the street you grew up on.

I'm Lady Isabel Horus-Ashton.

And you are...?

Lord Francis Herman-Husky Way.

HAP-HAP HAPPIETH BIRTHDAY TO WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

What is Your Favorite Shakespearean Play?

Romeo and Julliet. The version with all the cursing.

I like the version that I was in:  R&J with both roles being played by men...as men. ;)

ENERGY VIBES FOR THE MIDNIGHT SHOW!!!

Thanks again, Jane!  I hope that they'll feed us and we won't have to go out and fend for ourselves.  One good thing about this show is that I'm not wearing any makeup, so I won't have to clean off anything if I do have to go out...or after each show, when I go home.

A miracle has happened. My paper is not due until Monday. Nevertheless, I have finished it, even the bibliography. So, I can take tomorrow off and re-read it Monday before posting it. I am so relieved.

Congrats, John!

HAP-HAP HAPPIETH BIRTHDAY TO WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

What is Your Favorite Shakespearean Play?

Tragedy: King Lear
Comedy: Twelfth Night
History: Henry V

Harlequin Productions, here in Olympia, did A Rock & Roll Twelfth Night (they also did a revival several years later and renamed it A Rock 'n' Roll Twelfth Night).  Louis Hobson, who played Orsino in the revival, went on to be in the original Broadway production of Next to Normal, and is on the recording with BK's Tony-winning close and personal friend, Alice Ripley.

Hi all!   I hope everyone is having a nice Holiday weekend.    I wish I had a lot to tell you about but I'm fresh out except that work is Hell and I don't think anyone wants to hear me gripe about it.

I took Toby to the vet.  It's hard to believe it's been a year already since I got him.  The poor little boy was so upset that I had to sit and comfort him when we got home.  I guess it's kinda like a UFO abduction.  Can you imagine what it is like for them to be taken from their happy home, have your butt probed, stung with 3 or more needles, strange hands going all over your body and ears and have someone you don't know open your mouth and look at your teeth?  All the while your "mommy" stands  by and lets it happen along with saying "Be a good dog?"  It must be a real nightmare for them.

My mother never stood by during my alien abductions!

Good Saturday morning. The sun is shining and it looks like spring outside!

Across the street, vendors are setting up for Saturday market and I might mosey on over later.

There is one vendor, a farmer who is originally from the UK, and who is quite dashing. I always buy something from him, whether I need it or not....that is, when I can push my way through the throngs of middle-aged housewives who are drooling over his produce.

;D

TOD:

The only Francis Ford Coppola movies I like are BATTLE BEYOND THE SUN (1962) and DEMENTIA 13 (1963).

You can't really call BATTLE BEYOND THE SUN a Francis (Ford) Coppola film because:  :-)

1) He used the name Thomas Colchart
2) It was originally a Russuan film called Nebo Zovyot
3) He only shot new footage.
