Reading about DR George's favorite pizza. I have never heard of pepperoni and pineapple. Also I don't think people here ever ask for extra sauce or extra cheese.

DR Jennifer - Well... The next time you go out for pizza... Ask. ;)

I am pooped out!!!  I had a VERY busy day at the office then went to the book sale where my job was to be on the floor cleaning up the tables as people messed them up, cleaning up the boxes of books under the tables as people messed them up and adding more books to the tables as space opened up.  I didn't have one break from 6:00 to 9:00.  It was crazy.  I've certainly gotten exersize this week

Somebody from church gave me tickets to the symphony tonight, which was great. It was part of their Tschaikovsky (sp?) festival and they were playing all of his symphonies over a two-week period, with the ballet doing some of his work and other performances. Tonight, it was the 1st and 5th symphony.

Wonderful work and everybody seemed highly energized. Just a whole lot of fun.

Next season, the symphony will be doing all of Beethoven's nine, plus a piano group is planning on performing all of  his piano solo pieces and a chamber group will do some of his other works.

I like this spirit of getting all the music groups in the area involved in a theme. There are also lectures and seminars, radio programs and some local TV on the PBS station.

DR Jose, I have type 2 diabetes. My dad has it, his dad had it, my sister has it. It runs in the family. I thought I was doing OK in keeping it under control, but I've gotten lazy about exercising and eating right since starting school. I have to admit I wasn't feeling as well as I should have, and I hope I'm hearing the wake-up call.

I started by having shrimp tacos tonight without eating the tortillas. No corn, no taters, no white flour, no rice. And I just learned how to make bread. Oy.

I don't need to starve myself. I just need to think first.

Finished watching my shows from last night...

THE OFFICE is not so funny with Will Ferrell

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was mostly funny.

OUTSOURCED was highly funny, and sweet.

Now to bed. I have a lot of Bollywood movies to watch tomorrow, so I want to get an early start.

I've been falling all my life and never broke anything until a few years back.  Now it seems if i fall i'm guaranteed to break.

Today i fractured my right wrist in several places.  the good news is it was the good kind that doesn't require surgery.  i see my orthopedist on tuesday as he was once again the doctor on call at emergency.

Good Evening!

And about 24-hours from now, the curtain should be falling on the first performance/preview of Follies at The Kennedy Center.

I was supposed to go see Patsy Cline tonight..................... ah, but she died.

Actually this is the musical ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE, but my friend Betzy is stuck working this evening, so we have to postpone until next week.

Last month, Capital Playhouse announced that that will be one of their shows next season.

Just had to share. :)
