Well, you've read the notes, the notes never sleep, and now it is time for you to post until the sleepy cows come home.

Isn't it great when MR BK is in the Eastern Time Zone?

Wow - what an eclectic group at Joe Allen.....AND Bud Cort!

Good Evening!

Greetings from New York City!

-The bus ride back up to NYC was uneventful and non-traffic-delayed. In fact, we even got in about 20 minutes earlier than scheduled. :)

Delores Fuller also wrote "Rock A Hula Baby" and "Do the Clam" and a few other Elvis movie hits.

bk - Welcome back to New York City! -And it sounds like you had a great night at Joe Allen! -And so glad you got to see both Kay and Baayork. -I think I'm seeing Baayork again later in the week. In any case...

What exactly is your schedule tomorrow? Are you planning any sort of "after-party" after The Singer's show at The Metropolitan Room? If so, I may be able to meet you after my show.

DR MBarnum - I believe the sign at Joe Allen has already been modified to: "No Shirts. No Shoes. No MBarnum." ;)

DR JohnG - What was the dipping sauce for that Deep-Fried Twinkie and Oreo? Chocolate sauce? -I will give the Chip Shop in Brooklyn credit for serving their Deep-Fried Twinkies with a fresh raspberry coulis. -It's a side of fruit. ;) -And then you can have a one of their deep-fried candy bars to go with it. Alas, I just missed their Deep-Fried Cadbury Egg season.

BK, sounds like you had a very good first day in NYC.  Hope that the rest of your stay is as good!

Ricky woke me up at 4:30,  I put him out of the room, but soon realized that even with the window open it was still hot and humid.  It's 75 degrees and 66 degrees dew point. Yuck. It's going to be 97 degrees today... 97 degrees! That's just obscene.   I'm sure the ladies on BK's flight would find it fascinating ;)

I really don't do well in hot weather.  So, after tossing and turning and turning and tossing,  I got up, cranked the air conditioner and made breakfast.

While I love being in demand, I am hoping for a bit quieter day at the office so I can catch up.  It's been insane
