DR Druxy - My actor friend in Cape Cod got a copy of your play, TRACY. He is truly enjoying it.  He would be perfect in the role.  Here is a photo of the two of us from a production of INHERIT THE WIND.  He is the man on the right.

I've arranged "The West Virginia Mining Disaster" today, and I have more to accomplish tomorrow, namely "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" and "Good Ol' Mountain Dew."   Now that I'm in for the evening, I'm having some baked beans for dinner and I wish I had some potato salad with it.

I thought BK would be home by now

Storms seem to have passed by without leaving any damage -- at least at my house. Don't know about the rest of the city or region yet.

But all my plants' leaves are headed skyward. They are overdosing on the rain.

good news regarding your house!

If he can set up a production, I am certainly willing to work with him.

Thanks for letting him know.

Has anyone heard of the National Jukebox?  It's a website of "Historical Recordings from the Library of Congress."

The Library of Congress presents the National Jukebox, which makes historical sound recordings available to the public free of charge. The Jukebox includes recordings from the extraordinary collections of the Library of Congress Packard Campus for Audio Visual Conservation and other contributing libraries and archives.

It's pretty darned cool!

cool & thanks

Just came from facebook. I belong to a lot of book groups. And they are all quite upset over facebook's new promotional rules that came into place yesterday (or were enforced starting yesterday).

A lot of authors do book giveaways on facebook. And apparently now you are not allowed to do this anymore. I think this really sucks. Although they are all trying to figure out what they can do. Some are setting up blogs.

funny i haven't know about any of this.  i have friends who complain they have maXED ON THE NUMBER OF FRIENDS THEY CAN HAVE OR THE NUMBER OF GROUPS THEY CAN LIKE.

DR Jane - I hadn't heard about those new FB rules.  Lots of pages, not just authors', do giveaways both on Facebook and Twitter.  I'll be interested in how it all shakes out.

Richard and I are off to Cincinnati for a program about Macchu Picchu - run-up to Middfest 2011 featuring Peru.

Bye for now!

it was jennifer, no me :)

are you going to Macchu Picchu?  keith wants to go but is afraid i will get sick & fall.  we have heard of it happening.

I spoke with her "appointed daughter" who is also a friend of mine. I clued her in on some things she didn't know about.

Is this new information that Ashton Kutcher is replacing Charlie Sheen on TWO AND A HALF MEN?  Or  had this been rumored for a while?

I hadn't heard anything about Ashton Kutcher...I'd read an article saying that Hugh Grant was offered the job, but he turned it down due to "creative differences."

Craig has just left for the airport to go to a wedding in Pittsburgh.  yogi is in their room so as not to see Craig leave.  i'll let yogi out in a few minutes.  poor boy started crying when Craig got out the suitcase to pack.
