Well, the wine festival is over and I have survived -- just barely. How the women who run the festival make through the madness of those four days is beyond me.

We had record crowds for events, with many being sold out far in advance.

And now to rest before work starts tomorrow.

A new voice, DR DRUXY!

I've only gotten to know this kid during the past couple of years.  He's the grandson of my first cousin, so would that make him my 3rd cousin?

 ???

First cousin twice removed.

Today's favorite eBay listing title:

Rare 8x10 PORTRAIT photo of FRANCES FARMER (1980s)

(Frances died in 1970).

That, of course, is what makes it so very, very rare.

Rare or not, I don't think I want to see a picture of what Frances Farmer looked like in the 1980s.

Not much worse than she looked in 1970, I suspect.

Wasn't up for seeing a play today - I came close - dressed, showered, got ready, but in the end I just couldn't get up the energy.  I really needed the day today.  I haven't done anything but eat and do a tiny bit of work for an upcoming project - hopefully I can do a rough pass of the liner notes at some point, as I'd love to get that out of the way.

If she were alive in the 1970s and not in the 1980s, I would suspect there would be a great difference.

I was going to have a ME day, but the president of the Heritage Preservation Society asked me to write the story about yesterday's dedication ceremony - so I suppose I will.

If I get it to the Banner-Graphic this morning, it may make tomorrow's edition.

Jrand, why did you want to have a Medical Examiner day?

What is this DEARTH of postings lately.  We've had a positive DEARTH, I tell you, and I feel we need to get over this DEARTH and back to the PLETHORA because a PLETHORA is better than a DEARTH any old day.

Been home since about 5:30.  Have been hanging out with the cats and just getting settled down a little bit.  It's been nice.  Flight was good.  Thanks for the vibes

You obviously haven't seen any photos of Frances near the end of her days.  And I love her dearly.  :)

I have the first season of that and find some of it a little too creepy to watch over and over.
