Thanks to all  for the vibes for THE MUSIC MAN and Ernie & his family!

We did have a sensational SOLD OUT opening night....much fun!

And my sister gave me the day off work!  So I am enjoying a leisurely Friday morning.

Bravo!

DR CILLA LIZ thanks for your posts on your local situation - it is much more real for me reading PERSONAL posts about it than hearing about it on the news.

Ditto!

In the US as far as I am concerned.

Speaking of Ms Palin......I still don't understand her popularity - she is the Kim Kardashian of politics.  :P

I was *just* thinking of DEATHTRAP the other day as I watched the new Criterion BD of DIABOLIQUE.  BK, did you ever ask Ira about the similarities between the two?

Here is Owen - who says "Good morning, Mayor Shinn" and walks around behind everybody, picking up the props they leave in the wrong place - and puts on his band uniform during the intermission so he will be ready for his last scene in the show.  ;D

LOL!

It's been quite a day here: fallout from the pathetic copy job at the McGlinnventory yesterday, discussions about a potential music prep office and equipment, and i need to tidy and vacuum before I can accomplish much else.

You could do a compilation and add as well the Broadway version of "The Lusty Month of May" and the Parade music based on "The Jousts." I'm sorry no one ever recorded "The Persuasion."

The Profiles in History catalog of Debbie Reynolds costumes and props being auctioned is absolutely unbelievable.

JR, for a mere several thousand you, too, can own costumes from the 1953 TITANIC or even several things Lucy wore in THE LONG, LONG TRAILER.

Good morning all!  I took the day off of work today for two reasons.  First, it is supposed to be the first completely "Spring Weekend" with temperatures all three days at seventy degrees or above.  The second reason is that even though Monday was a holiday, I was barely able to make it thru the three days of work, with the continuing pain in my back and legxs.  Even with my cane, I am feeling very unsteady because each time I move the wrong way, one or both of my legs start to buckle.  And my broken big toe appears to be getting infected and I need to soak it for a long time today.

Ahhhhh, our Golden Years!

There will be very big guns bidding on the Reynolds auction.  There is much criticism going around that one of the super rich show biz folks like George Lucas or Steven Spielberg didn't just write her a check and then figure out how to finally open a museum.  It would be chump change to either gentleman.

Feel better vibes to BK and to DR TCB!  Speaking of back pain, I have been taking it easy today with the heating pad on my back.  I think all my sorting, laundering, packing, and transporting garage sale items took a toll...

Is it a need for cash that is making Debbie sell all these artifacts?  Isn't there anyone who could step with the money needed for a Hollywood Museum?

Thank you for the answer BK.  Such a shame that this entire collection will be scattered to the four corners of the globe.  I always liked that phrase: the four corners of the globe
