No joke can be worked too much, and I just gave that joke a mid-joke standing ovation.

I remember at the sneak preview of The Sandpiper at the Warner Beverly Hills, Julie Andrews and Tony Walton were there - that film also underwent many reshoots after that preview.

The most amazing thing is happening right now on Facebook.  My mom and her sister had an older brother who died in 2004.  He had 3 sons, with whom my sister and I (and the cousins who've been here this week) had lost touch.  My sister got their addresses from my mother, called 2 of the 3 to tell them about Aunt Jo, and now cousins are reconnecting every which way on FB.  Amazing!

Hi everyone - DD Ben went to the vet yesterday and did very well.  He got his rabies shot and is all ready to go  He is at a good weight and seems to be healthy.  Our walks have been fun filled with almost NO pulling on my part.  He's behaving well at camp and the kids love him.

It's been a week since he came to live with me, and the strides he's made have been amazing.

Other than that, everything else is the same :)

:)  I'm glad it is going so well.

I must head down to T-Mobie as I can't seem to get this new fangled phone, I think it is called a Sidekick and it has an android or something like that in it....anyway, I can't answer phone calls on it, it stopped connecting to the internet and I can't figure out how to get the ringtone that I downloaded to the phone to actually play when the phone rings.

Keith had a Sidekick and disliked it very much.

I wish you a mid-shower standing ovation.

Oh wait, that sounded more like a double entendre than intended.  Aw hell, i'll post it anyway.  :)

DR JTand60, I had a question for you about CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN, whuch sounds like it might be an artistic disaster for the Playhouse. Have there been others? I can certainly remember several community theatre disasters in my day, some that ended up before an audience and some that luckily closed down before opening.

BlueGobo offers a great clip of Elaine Stritch and Russell Nype singing "You're Just in Love":

I don't know why, but every time I see Russel Nype's name, I always think of Nipsey Russell first.  Weird huh?

BK claimed to be a Percy Faith fan until he saw my complete collection (every Percy CD ever released), at which point he realized he simply didn't have my level of commitment.  :)

I just got my Ohio Light Opera program for 2011, and, having seen the cast for JUBILEE, I think I am very happy I will be missing it.
