I'm thinking about going to get refills on my water for the water cooler and to go look at the river.

Tonight there was a great mistake on the news.  They were doing the promo for what's coming up after the break and announced "Coming up Mr. Food will give a great Southern recipe"  The video was a cat meowing on someone's lap.  The announcer started laughing and said "It's not cat!"

I'm really sleepy right now.  I think I need to rest. My shoulder is starting to hurt.  So, it's a good thing I don't have helpers coming over tonight, lol.

BK claimed to be a Percy Faith fan until he saw my complete collection (every Percy CD ever released), at which point he realized he simply didn't have my level of commitment.  :)
You've been committed? LOL

Still, I loved the two Percy Faith recordings I had. One was "Do I Hear a Waltz?" and the other "Kismet."

Saw "Company" at the theater last night. It was almost sold out. The sound quality was horrible. You couldn't understand the singers half the time, but the Philharmonic was great. The DVD stopped working in the middle of the bedroom scene leading up to "Barcelona." As an apology, the theater management handed out free passes to another show. That was nice, still we missed the injured butterfly punchline.

Like Harris more than I thought. Liked most of the cast actually. Just had some problems with Elmore's second favorite director after Eric Schaffer. That would be Mr. Lonny Price, who sometimes edited scenes with the right, "Laugh-In"-style cuts that worked with the music and at others, he was completely at a loss.

Odd--this is the fourth movie theatre COMPANY episode I've read about in which something has gone wrong equipment-wise.  Is the film cursed or is it just being shunted into screening rooms that have known, pre-existing problems?
I think the latter was true for my case. This is not the theater where the live Met broadcasts are featured.

This group looks interesting.  The photo looks like they have 4 trombones

Bonerama        The band is not your traditional brass band — more like BRASS FUNK ROCK!

With a review of their recent Jazz Fest performance in Rolling Stone Magazine, Bonerama was also featured on the cover of OffBeat Magazine. These Masters of Brass have never been hotter!

As David Fricke with Rolling Stone Magazine would say, “The Ultimate in Brass Balls.” In addition to their own repertoire of music, they also play ripping covers of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Allman Brothers and much much more!! You ain’t heard nothing like it!

Hope they're OK, DR John G!  We're having torrential rain here in SW Ohio.

Jrand, perhaps the director of CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN is employing "the think system."  About twenty years ago, I did a dreadful psudo-mystery called STAGE STRUCK.  The play itself was horrible, but our director kept us sitting around for the first two weeks of reharsal.  We read thru the play every night, but we visualized where we saw ourselves on stage.

The director never did get around to blocking the third act of the shoiw, so I ended up doing the blocking.  I don't think we ever saw the driector after the first weeks of rehearsal.

LOL, FJL.   Cee Lo just has such an upbeat happy way of telling someone off.  He makes me laugh.  I like that he's at 6:45pm.  I don't know the bands this year, but it's free and my friends live across the street from the park so if you need to get away for awhile you can listen to the concert from their front porch, or go inside and cool off
