I love Dublin. I wish I could join you. We will be in Poughkeepsie the weekend that you leave.

I will then be in Manhattan for the rest of your time in my favorite city (next to London).

BK, do you think that Melody's focus being slightly off, might have had something to do with eating pizza before the rehearsal?

Actually, Aug 13-Aug 26 is over two (almost three) weekends.  I'll still be in Tumwater, though.

So, let me get this straight - you won't be there for my visit because you're going to DUBLIN?

Yep! I didn't bring it up because I hate to see you cry.

I knew I'd be in Dublin for recording on August 22-25, but I didn't know how much earlier they would need me until today..

What the HELL do they need to record in DUBLIN.  Irish beer songs?

Melody only had a piece of pizza so I don't think it was that - I think it was the rehearsal room.

Waiting for Melody to get here so we can run her song and I can finally go EAT.  Perhaps I'll have a meal in DUBLIN.

Well, it's time for me to leave work.  I'm going to my sister's to install a couple of towel bars in her bathroom, then home for some TV watching.

Be back later.

You would have quite a few wonderful choices if you did go to Dublin for a meal.

MichaelS, thanks for the hearty laugh.

Which was the joke?  The Rupert Murdoch or the flying ghosts?

We are going to New Jersey tomorrow to visit cousins of Anthony's.

What a coinkydink!  My cousin from Oregon and his wife are coming to Olympia tomorrow to visit us!  They'll be here until Tuesday morning.

On Monday, we're going to Seattle for the day.  We plan to go to the Space Needle (maybe have lunch there...I've never dined at the Space Needle restaurant!), the EMP (Experience Music Project) and the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame (part of the EMP).  It's definitely going to be a day! ;D

Do you have time to get a loan at the credit union before you eat at the Space Needle?

Exhausting but fruitful day of wedding prep in Lansing!  Mary Linda and her Mom and I ordered the flowers for the ceremony and reception and then I sent them out to wait in the car with my sister while I discussed rehearsal dinner decor.  I want the Cincinnati-themed event to be full of surprises for Rob and Mary Linda.

After we took the working women back to their offices, Nancy and I had a quick lunch at Applebee's and then I met with the events manager at the rehearsal dinner venue.  We sketched out the menu for the appetizer buffet and discussed a lot of the set-up and decor.  I'm going home with a couple of little projects that will require me to get in touch with my inner Martha Stewart.

We picked up my brother-in-law and went to dinner at Fajitas, a delightful Mexican jernt owned by a friend of theirs.  Mmmm!

DR CILLA LIZ - I would expect that you will see those dishes relisted - or the seller got a better offer via email for them.....

I looked tonight and didn't see them.  The funny thing is she has them listed as Imperial Candlewick and they aren't. It's a common mistake for these dishes.   I didn't respond to her note, but am watching

I found this clip pretty hysterical.  This guy (Randy Rainbow) took Mel Gibson's obscene phone rantings and combined theme into a fiictional phone conversation with Mel Gibson (who is supposedly dating}

WARNING:  Some of Mel's rants may be offensive, even though a lot of it is bleeped.

Catching up was easy.  Thinking of something to post on this slow news day is difficult.

Here we have the lovely June Kenney and great character actor John Hoyt in ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE.

Is June Kenney the actress that was recently found?

Thanks to MBarnum for keeping the home fries burning.  Rehearsal begins in ten minutes.  WHERE IS JANE?

At a wedding at Lake Arrowhead.

Dublin?  As in Ireland?  Or is there another one hidden away in Ohio?

She doesn't want to spend a lot of time there, so she has a friend who will bid for us if need be.  She doesn't think it will last long.
