I would pay good money for that!

It turns out the offer did go to Marcella, although my friend Bruce Pomahac does not like her vibrato. I only hope he's wrong. Or we're in big trouble.

Funny that PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE should be referenced, as I just last night was joking with Gabe about it.  The only two films which totally freaked him out when he was young were PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE (due to that horribly morphing truck driver early on) and DARBY O'GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE (due to the banshee).  We were giggling pretty heartily last night about these two movies being the ones that freaked him out so badly.

PWBA  was the movie that caused my nephew to become absolutely obsessed with all things Pee Wee when he was six years old.  And of course this was years after the actual Pee Wee craze, so it wasn't exactly easy (or cheap) to find him all things Pee Wee such as the Playhouse playset (and action figures), Colorforms, lunchbox, dolls, etc.

The night before we were eating dinner at the wonderful Cypress Inn when Sherlock suddenly begins dragging Keith, who was sitting in his chair, over to a Bernese Mt. Dog that unbeknownst to us had just walked in.  The couple with the dog sat at the table across from us which permitted the dogs to visit.  Of course we did the typical, where are you from & what is your dog's name.  As soon as we said Sherlock's name the young woman asked if we knew  Matty B, our best friend's son's nickname since college.  Talk about a small world.  He had told his friend that her dog, Sidney, needed to meet Sherlock.  Since Sidney lives in Denver they figured it would never happen.

If it weren't for Facebook I wouldn't have known who Matty B is, Keith didn't. ;D

BTW Matty B is the nephew of Bruce's high school classmate.
