Good Evening!

The put-in rehearsal went very well, and ended up only lasting an hour instead of the scheduled two, so...

I had to make a few corrections and clarifications to the keyboard part, so I went ahead and agog those copied and re-inserted into my sub's book.

Then it was off to Ted's Bulletin for dinner and a milkshake. And some of their homemade Pop Tarts (for tomorrow's breakfast).

And now a little break...

Of course, since our Ado Annie will be out for a few performances next week - she's visiting a potential college (she'll be a high school senior in the fall), we have yet another put-in rehearsal on Tuesday afternoon. As long as my plane lands on time...

For JR and his opening night festivities:

Rare vocal stylings by one of JR's favorite actors

Now I know why I never watched CAPTAIN NICE.

That's the song they cut from the movie, isn't it?

Also, the original Broadway cast recording?

Jose - Ben Brantley wrote an article on kisses onstage, and goes into detail about the kissing in your OKLAHOMA!

(I did my parody-lyric take on that at comment #6, an IT'S IN HIS KISS / OKLAHOMA mash-up :) )

The only time out I've had today was to eat a salad.  But I think I've gotten everything done, at least I hope so.  This whole deal has been very complicated.  I had to make sure I e-mailed myself everything that I'd need - scripts, mp3s, announcement blurb, all of it.  I did the schedule (it would be SO nice to have a helper on this - Barry's been great, actually, but I also need someone here), which I hope will work for everyone.  We're still desperately trying to get a shooter for Tuesday.  Everything else has fallen into place.  I got everyone everything they needed for Monday's announcement, and the good news is the master has begun to upload so I can actually get all the audio samples to the web guy tonight.  I've packed (hopefully everything I need), and I've banked and I've picked up packages.  Hopefully, outside of a few little dribs and drabs, that's everything I needed to do today.

It's been a looooong afternoon, waiting for a pdf from an Ohio bank to be notarized, signed and mailed back before I leave town, an hour long conversation with hte producer of the recording over the too-short recording schedule, an email to Dublin about one extra recording session on Friday, and too much angst.

I'm ready to chill out now.

We may have a thuderstaorm...we're under a watch.  If it starts raining, not only will it be something that hasn't happened in ages, but I will have to run around the house shutting windows.  It will be quite interesting to the cats I'm sure

DR Laura, did Mother Kim ever recover after the anesthesia?  I don't remember you taking her in for adoption, of course I could have missed that.   Vibes to all the kitties

Ok what's with the weather channel now that NBC bought them.  I've been through two if what should have been "local on the 8s" but no local weather.   I'm sorry, but I want my weather on the weather channel...sheesh!

Tomorrow night is Movie Night at my friends' house.  Another movie on the patio shown on the big white sheet attached to the back of their garage....
Quote
this weeks feature is TREMORS, starring Kevin Bacon with Reba McIntire, Here’s a teaser… Natives of a small isolated town defend
themselves against strange underground creatures which are killing them one by one…

Before the feature movie, a 1951 short film will be shown – “Going Steady” – which aims to offer teens
the pros and cons of exclusive dating. Will Marie and Jeff continue to date?? Come and find out!!

Hope it doesnt' rain tomorrow night!

Yes, Cillaliz. They all went to adoptions. Sunshine and Purrcy went several days later because they had a hard time with the anesthetic. Mother Kim doesn't feel good and doesn't even want her own kids around her.
