I saw that when it first came out.

It was an interesting movie and, if I recall correctly, Broderick Crawford delivered one of the beat performances he's given in years.

I actually went through my iTunes Library the other day and created a playlist of some albums that I don't think I've listened to ever since I bought the CD/downloaded the files/burned them to my iTunes library/etc. In no particular order:

In other news...

I was just browsing the DRG Records website (for the first time in a long time), and noticed that there seems to be some sort of site-wide Sale going on. -Unless they're just listing their direct-from-the-manufacturer prices. I did notice that purchases are handled by myMusicandVideo.com -Has any DR dealt with them?

Went to the multiplex today to see TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY which I think has only opened in the UK and Ireland so far. Gary Oldman is excellent as the taciturn and inscrutable George Smiley, although he doesn't make one forget Alec Guinness' perfect performance in the original BBC TV adaptation. The film is photographed in a bleak greyness with no sun intruding as befits a cold war spy drama. It made a refreshing change to see a film without any explosions or car chases! Very fine music score by Alberto Inglesias - who also did the score for THE SKIN I LIVE IN which I saw last week.

Jose, OF COURSE I read the non-Kindle versions of the Benjamin Kritzer Trilogy!!  I bought them all directly from BK himself, when he first wrote them.  I got them WITH his autograph AND the CDs of songs that accompanied the books when purchased directly from BK himself, so I could've said that I'm reading the Benjamin Kritzer trilogy again...but I did specify that I'm reading "my new Kindle version" of the BK Trilogy.
