Zooey's show was kind of quirky.

LOL-I expect it to be quirky.  Did you like it?

Haven't decided yet.  I'll probably watch a few more episodes, but won't mind missing it.  I kept thinking, "Wow, this is no BIG BANG THEORY."

No joke, just that Georgia is the state associated in pop culture with executions since I keep thinking of that's the night the lights went out in Georgia, that's the night they hung an innocent man

So, I finished reading a biography of Sal (WHO KILLED TEDDY BEAR?) Mineo. . .who knew that he an Bobby (HERE COME THE BRIDES) Sherman were an item?!?!?!

You, if you'd hung out here a little more in the past year! ;D

DR JRand61 and I discussed it, much to DR Druxy's disbelief, as I recall.

I am sorry I missed that discussion!  :(

To go from white-bread Bobby Sherman to bad-boy Don Johnson (though, according to DJ, never consummated) just shows what a versatile player Sal Mineo was.  ;)

We love BIG BANG but the previews of NEW GIRL made me think she might be annoying, and I like the actress.

I started to watch a motion picture and promptly fell asleep for forty minutes.  Guess I'll have to start over.

Both Thelma AND Louise are now sold out at Kritzerland.  Our next release, as some know, will be our Very Very Special Special Edition of Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang - which now looks like it will be a two CD set.

After reading BK's rant in today's notes, I have  decided to discontinue my work on VIKING WOMEN AND THE SEA SERPENT: THE MUSICAL.

A shame, though. I'm sure it would have revolutionized Broadway.

that is one of the funniest posts you've ever written, DR MBarnum!

Jose, thanks for mentioning the SHERLOCK special features. I watched the show online and didn't even think about special features. I would like to see them.

JRand, sigh. I was in the audience at many tapings. I know that several of them were for THE LUCY SHOW, as Lucy was my dad's "boss" at the time (Desilu). IIRC (and I may not), I was also there for THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW and THE DANNY THOMAS SHOW. But I cannot tell you which seasons or give any details about the shows. Sorry. And I do not have a loud or distinctive laugh (thankfully).

Ginny, if it bothers you that others know what's on your Kindle, how about this:

I recently received an email from a retailer, advertising a sale. I briefly looked at their merchandise (through the email), but chose not to purchase anything. A day or two later I received a second email from them, saying that they saw that I'd looked at their merchandise but didn't purchase. Then they asked me why I wasn't buying from them!! I can understand why they'd want to know, but it did strike me as pushy!!

How about "Thelma and Louise: The Musical"? Big car goes sailing off the stage at the end of the show as the orchestra swells and our Thelma and Louise sing one of those "Take off and let's go flying" songs that "Will Rogers Follies" and "Take Flight" were all about. They sharpened the edges of the cookie cutter. We just have to cut it out!

Elmore, the book is called "The Food Lover's Guide to San Antonio." The publisher is Globe Peuquot from the Northeast and if you tell me where in San Antonio you can shop for Asian candies, duck tongues or French mustards then you will definitely be included in the dedication.
