DR Jane, I'm sure Mrs. G has her moments.  As for your yellow jacket sting, maybe a nap would make you feel better...

I was just thinking of taking a nap, though not wanting to sleep the day away is why I didn't take a Benadryl.  I doubt I can rest my head on that side-think I'll go give it a try.

Roger Williams has died.  He was a very good looking man when I met him back in the 60s.

For those of you who are fans of Al Jolson:

My one-person play, JOLSON, is now available from Amazon in both paperback and on Kindle.

The show has been performed in Los Angeles, Maine (don't recall where) and throughout Florida.

http://www.amazon.com/Jolson-Michael-B-Druxman/dp/1466349352/ref=sr_1_1_title_0_main?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1318082807&sr=1-1

Druxy, I would love to do your Orson Welles one-man play.  I think I have the speaking voice (and the talent) to caryy it off.

And for those who may have missed my quasi-flurry of post last night about the video I had posted, well...

Here's the YouTube link to the impromptu Stage Door Duet that occurred after one of the matinees of the closing weekend of Oklahoma! between our "Will Parker", Cody Williams, and a very young fan of the show.

I've been passing it about!

Oh! Just make sure it doesn't get posted and tagged on Facebook. We didn't really get permission from the young girl's parents (yet - we know who they are) which is why I'm keeping it as "unlisted".

But if it ends up getting Cody some work, well... ;)

You mean Roger Williams.  He once accompanied my mother when she sang in Des Moines and my uncle was his parents' doctor.   (he was from Des Moines).   It wasn't too many years ago...well maybe quite a while, that my parents got together with him after one of his concerts.

Thanks for mentioning this.  I called my mom to let her know.

Lying down made it hurt more, also made me realize I should sleep propped up tonight to reduce swelling.  I'm holding a soft ice pack on it (when I'm not typing).

DR Jose the "All 'Er Nothin'" duet is so darn cute.  I needed a good smile & laugh.

While hiking today a yellow jacket stung my head and I have no idea what bit my leg & stomach multiple times.  I understand how the yellow jacket got tangled in my hair but I was wearing heaving jeans with a t-shirt tucked in & a sweat shirt over that.

Whoever compared the sting to a bad flu shot, this way way worst & still hurts like heck.

DR Jane, I'm beginning to wonder if hiking isn't more hazardous to your health than the benefits you get from it ;)

Oh...

Catching up from Thursday...

I believe it was DR TCB who asked Joe Jonas...

He was not the one in the concert version of Les Miserables, nor will he be taking over in for Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss in the current revival of H2$. He is one of the other Jonas Brothers of Jonas Brothers fame/hysteria. His new solo albums drops on Tuesday.

Darren Criss is also doing H2$?  I thought that Mr. Radcliffe was doing the show thru December.

Back from the four-mile jog and shall now be on my way to the Hollywood Show.

Have a good time at the Hollywood Show. Hopefully, you won't have to bail DR MBarnum out of jail later for not heeding the various restraining orders he currently has. ;)

As least we don't have to worry about Mikey being arrested for molesting a minor.

Which reminds me, I finally got my injection appointment scheduled.  It is at 8:00 a.m. on November 1.  The nurse told me that after I get my third injection scheduled, I was to call and get a follow-up appointment with Dr. Miracle Worker. I don't think so.

My latest Anderson Cooper e-mail has the subject line, "WHAT SHOULD ANDERSON TRY NEXT? Oh, that is so tempting, but I won't.

We've ordered pizza and Rob and Mary Linda have gone to pick it up.  I'd like to watch the Michigan/Northwestern game while we eat, but this hotel does not have the Big Ten Network  >:(

I'm so tired.  I dozed off again whilst watching Top Banana - save for some truly amusing physical comedy bits, it's pretty excruciating.

I went to the Art Walk today and ended up buying a painting.   I wasn't expecting to do that, but I really love it.  It's by an artist named David West.  He studied at the Chicago Art Institute and was the director of the Sioux City Art Center for a number of years.  He died 5 years ago, but his wife still has all his art stored in a portion of his old studio and opens it once a year.  I do collect original art by local artists, so I was thrilled to get this one.

I'm lucky that fasting doesn't really have any negative affect on me. I can pretty much do what i want (although not exercise). It was such a nice day out (70s and sunny). It's a shame i could not bike.

If Darren Criss isn't even taking over the role until January; isn't it a bit premature to name Mr. Criss' replacement?  Who knows if the show will survive the departure of Daniel Radcliffe?
