Well, you've read the notes, the notes leapt out at you, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home in 3-D.

I bought an MP3 player online, so we shall see if I can figure it out and if I even need it - when it gets here.

Nice OKLAHOMA! video DR JOSE.

And DR TCB the Wax Museum video was very funny, too.

When we were the FIRST ones into the Space Museum many years ago and walked up to the space suit.....we jumped very high, when it started to move!

Good morning, all! I slept late and I'm trying to get the energy up to do the laundry. I've got a telephone conversation with the Man From Philadelphia later about the New World Records deadline next Monday and other topics. Tomorrow I need to trim the 11x17 photocopies from the Library of Congress gown to size.

my last dream was a strange one involving, once again, the Drama Book Shop, the George Walker play ZASTROZZI, and my beloved goddaughter Charlotte, who had a baby. It was most peculiar.

DR Jose, I loved the "All 'Er Nothin'" duet. I'm keeping Cody in the back of my mind as a possibility for one of the seven California Collegians for ROBERTA. My goal is to have ten or so performers as first choices for the seven roles and then see who's available when the time arrives.

I think that's all my news.

For those of you who are fans of Al Jolson:

My one-person play, JOLSON, is now available from Amazon in both paperback and on Kindle.

The show has been performed in Los Angeles, Maine (don't recall where) and throughout Florida.

DR elmore - I'll be sure to pass on his contact info to you. -He's really an amazing talent. He graduated from Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, auditioned for Oklahoma a few weeks after graduating, and landed the gig. And when he hasn't been "Will Parker" over the past 18 or so months, he's been working at other regional theatres. And he is living in NYC now. Best of all, he's just a really great guy.

As for the Topic of the Day...

The Past:
Ditto. ;)
Could I include Abbott & Costello?

As for Today's Comedians:
He's become much more than a quote-unquote "comedian" but Mike Birbiglia makes me laugh (and think).

"One of the most disliked men in show business".  I guess the biopic The Jolson Story with Larry Parks wasn't totally accurate then!!

The big decision on Saturday is deciding what to buy for Sunday lunch.  I decided on shoulder of lamb, which should be really yummy.
