I can't believe how dry the whole state of Iowa is....well at least the part I saw today, which was only a little part of the state. The air is just thick with dust. It's been a long time since it rained...hopefully we'll get the rain predicted tonight...although it may be snow, which would make me happy

While in the shower I missed the call from the dermatologist's office & couldn't ask if the path report was the same as before, though I think it is. The good news is she got it all out & I don't have to return to have more of my face removed.

Thanks Jane, and thanks for those who gave vibes ... I'm glad to have the visits done. I needed to do both of them, but can do the rest of the communication via letter or phone, so I shouldn't have to do that tour again

2nd time it was cut, or burned out (just a small patch near my ear lobe) with numerous surface removals in between. Hopefully it won't return.

Thanks. At least a message was left. She said it was a form of squamous cell carcinoma but not if it was the same type as the Bowens previously diagnosed. I'll call tomorrow. Of course the important part is that it is all gone, but then I believe the original report said the same thing.

Since there is only one room in the house with heat I'm glad it is our bedroom or I really would be sick by morning. Craig said the lack of heat is preferable to waking up in 115% temps. I guess it got really hot before it stopped working. He keeps the door shut to keep the pets in & it is still warm in there.

The rest of the house is still comfortable. With luck it still will be tomorrow morning. I'm so grateful the cold damp weather is gone, not that 45 degrees is all that warm.

We're having (minor) furnace issues, too. You may recall we had to have a new one installed a few months ago, and I just discovered yesterday one of the vent pipes is leaking water vapor. It was right next to some very valuable paper memorabilia of mine, thankfully nothing got wet.

I didn't go to court....just to a prison and a juvenile placement program at a mental hospital facility. I really needed to see both clients and they can't come see me, so.....
