I would recommend the book for those interested in the subject - narrow though that interest may be.

I decided that I might feel better if I actually prepared something for dinner, instead of just nuking something  I thought I would make a tuna pasta salad.  Real tough, huh?  I am exhausted, and I am only half way thru making the salad.  I had to start by washing all the pots and bowls that I wanted to use.  I could only wash them if I was sitting.  I think this was a big mistake.

In resonse to all the requests for photos (well I think at least one DR mentioned something about it) here are a few photos of my Bilbao trip. The silver building is, of course, the Guggenheim Museum. The stained glass window is in the railway station.

It looks lovely.  Quaint and lovely.

DR TCB cooking is difficult & exhausting when one is in pain.  It used to be one of my passions & now I rarely do it.  I wish I could take you some of Craig's jumbili.  He made a lot.  Normally he doesn't have extra's for me, only little tastes.

How was leg room, vixmom?  Or did you mention that?

quite comfortable --  and the rows were nearly "stadium seating" so we could easily see the excellent set without the heads if those seated in front of us being in our line of vision

My niece has had a fever on and off all week. My sister took her to the doctor earlier in the week. And there was no infection. But the fever came back friday and saturday.

So i went to the tiny tots clinic yesterday morning at 9am and they said they would be taking appointments for Sunday at 8am Sunday. So i go back at 8am. And the place is closed (but people are waiting). When the lady finally opens the doors (at around 8:15am) she says there are no more appointments.

She says they were all taken online. My sister had been trying online. But apparently they are only open online from 10pm-7am. :(

So she's on a waiting list. But now my sister called to say she doesn't have a fever right now. So even if they call she is not sure what to do. :(

You went in person just to book an appointment. The entire appointment system just doesn't seem right.  What if it were serious.  Were sick people there waiting without getting an appointment?!? :(

Well she has a regular doctor. But she doesn't work on the weekends.

There is a phone system. But it's very often busy. And i only live 5 minutes away. So it's faster for me to just drive over.

It's a tiny tots clinic.

A tiny tots clinic?  How old are these doctors?

It is interesting that I can read the description of a play, and it doesn't make me curious at all.....but when someone here on HHW talks about it.....it becomes much more interesting and real....and maybe even a "hope I can see that someday..." show.

Except of course DR VIXMOM's Little Shop of Horrors.

Oh please  do not credit me for  that production...
