Good Afternoon!

Well... Just in case any DR has been wondering: FedEx's LapNet system is not Mac-compatible - no matter what the signs and managers may tell you. -And the LapNet program is also a "corporate virus".

BK,

When can we expect the next episode of OUTSIDE THE BOX?

I thought that it was going to be a weekly series.

How many episodes are there?

I believe a new episode of "Outside the Box" will be "released" every two weeks. Thus making it a bi-weekly series.

A month or so ago I found that iTunes was not accepting CD album artwork when I copied and pasted it into the info box. I'd never had any problem doing that before. I asked iTunes support who emailed to say I should uninstall iTunes, install latest Windows updates and reinstall iTunes and that all my saved CDs would remain in place. I did all that and although I had concerns that all my CDs would end up being deleted, they were still there when I reinstalled. However, I still can't add new artwork. Looking at iTunes discussions forums it seems that quite a lot of people have the same problem but no-one seems to have a solution - niether apparently does iTunes.

DR Doug R - Is the issue only a problem on the PC version of iTunes? I haven't noticed any issues with my Mac (version), however... I do get tired of the "No Artwork Found" message even after I have added my own artwork.

Sorry I can't be of more help right now.

Yes, PC version. I'll download the new version and see if that makes a difference.

How can one tell if Yogurt has gone bad.  I bought a couple of containers the other day at the store, but I didn't notice that they were still in the bag rather than the refrigerator for about six hours.  Considering all of the problems I have been having with my bladder and other things, I really would rather not eat something that might make me sick.  But I hate to throw away edible food if I don't have to do so.

Is this the same as asking how you know if sour cream has gone bad?

I'm wondering what kind of camera DR Doug has--those photos are spectacular!
Quote from: Jane on November 13, 2011, 06:20 PM
I was also wondering about the camera.

DR KevinH and DRJane: I didn't use anything special. I usually use my Fuji FinePix F200 but I left the battery in the charger at home so I had to use my little Toshiba Camileo S30 camcorder, which also takes still pictures, although the pictures would have been better (especially at large size) if I'd been able to use the Fuji.

Show off!   :)

JMK, Gary Gulman is indeed very handsome. I would certainly cast him in any production.

I checked out his website, also. There was a tab marked "Dates." I clicked on it, but it wasn't what I was hoping for.

Sunday I took my grand-neice and nephew, Taylor and Ben, to downtown Portland to see the puppet show PINOCCHIO.

It was fun, if not a bit manic.

A manic puppet show?

I think my sense of direction is really l getting worse as I get older. I had a heck of a time remembering the way back to the parking lot that we had parked at, which was some blocks away from the theatre. However, Ben and Taylor (5 and 10 years old, respectively) were able to locate it without any trouble.

I find the same thing. I never used to have trouble remembering where I left the car but now I keep having to search for it. There's a wonderful system in one of the new malls near me where you simply enter your licence plate number onto an electronic display and it shows you where your car is. That only works of course if you can remember your licence plate number  :)

They do have these really great GPS key chains available.  You press the button when you get out of your car, and then you click it again, when you want to find your way back to your car.

That is so cute, Jane!

I know but you seem to be the only one, except those on FB, that watched it.

I thought it was adorable.  Didn't you get my mental vibe?

DR TCB - Yogurt is somewhat indestructible. If it has truly gone bad there will be a "gasp" of air when you open the containers. Otherwise, it is like sour cream.

However, if you are feeling "uncomfortable", then: "When in doubt, throw it out."

BK,

When can we expect the next episode of OUTSIDE THE BOX?

I thought that it was going to be a weekly series.

How many episodes are there?

New episodes every two weeks - season one (like most web series) is comprised of six episodes, so will air over a twelve-week period.  Then there's a hiatus, we shoot season two, and that goes up sometime in March or April.

Did the four-mile jog, had a sandwich and no onion rings, picked up a package and an important envelope, went to the editing room, and am back but will be on my way to LACC shortly.  One of our LACC gals just informed everyone she wouldn't be with us on Saturday - she's the gal we're "sharing" with another show there - apparently she WILL be there for that rehearsal but will miss ours - and this is the one gal out of the three who needs the rehearsal the most - so I've written the faculty about it and we'll see what happens - we have a fourth LACC gal who's covering all three roles and will play two of the three tracks at the matinees, so she can do it, but I'm not happy that this gal thinks she can do this.
