I can't believe the heater guy has to return tomorrow.  I'm not sure what he is doing.  The plumber is supposed to come as well.  We have full functioning heat today which is probably why Sherlock decided to hang out on the deck tonight.

Watching "Little Shop of Horrors" for the first time since I saw the movie at the theater when it was reelased. I'm really enjoying it more on TV than I did in the theater

Hello, everyone! I am back from Hilton Head. We played to small houses, but the response was quite good. I have lots to say about Hilton Head, the show, and a pissy queen director in residence at the theatre who made life difficult for the men in the cast when he showed up to direct THE DROWSY CHAPERONE and threw our leading actor out of "his room" because the theatre did our housing carelessly. We had to move David into our residence on Friday night, and the brouhaha created tension for all the men having this jerk and his little dog too invading their party. I think the sonofabitch should have checked into a hotel until our show finished and we left and, to add insult to injury, the pissy thing didn't come to see our show. We all hate her.

Hi all.  I've been doing a lot of stuff lately.  I decided to move my books from the office computer to my home computer and I'm behind in entering all the info into the computer, so I'm working on catching up.   It's kept me quite busy

Work has also been busy.  A few things that have happened that have made me think I need to change the way I do things....but I don't, I just needed to refocus and not think about what everyone else is doing etc.   Details are boring, but I'm back on track and feeling great about it

Today one of my clients stopped in.  She had to leave and go to Guatemala and come back through the embassy.  She's married to a citizen and has been working for a long time to get her permanent residency.  Many people have to stay in Guatemala for several years before they get their visa and can come to be with their families.  I got her back here in 4 months.   She was thrilled and so was I.   Today she brought me a really cool hand carved wooden cat from Guatemala.  I love it!

John G.  I just decided to refocus on what I'm doing and want to do and shut out the noise of what others are doing and it's working

I'm watching Diane Sawyer's story about Gabby Giffords.  It's totally amazing how far she's come in 10 months.  What an inspiration

I felt bad for JR on DWTS tongiht.  He did 3 dances on a twisted (sprained) ankle.  OUCH!  I voted for him 5 times. I usually don't vote, but I don't want to see him go

Here are sme photos from the show; they're dress rehearsal shots. The little girl Broderick isn't in the photos because she was still at school. sme of the costumes changed over the course of the week as well; the shoes are all too n9ce for Appalachian dirt poor mners, farmers, etc.

this is the New Year Carol at the end of the show.

This is our wonderful boy Jarod singing "How Far Is It To Bethlehem?" Not a dry eye in the house. Michael Hicks and David Lutken accompanied him on harmonica and autoharp.

And, for some comedy relief, our moonshiner Wilmer (Steve McIntyre) and the men doing "Good Old Mountain Dew."

Back from rehearsal - rough tonight - which is what happens sometimes after a day off when no one thinks they have to run their stuff.
