I've been to market, and now I will settle in front of the tv with my latest issue of GRAMOPHONE and catch up on what's going on in the classical recording world.

I added an ebook to my library queue for THE AFFAIR by Lee Child and am #160 in the queue. :o

Wow!  Let's hope they are fast readers.

;D  I can wait or purchase it, which I might do if I need something to read for my trip.

Elmore, I like your reasoning on registering Democrat, except for the fact that I've been an independent since I first registered to vote. Plus, I like telling the people from their campaigns what I truly think of the candidates they support. I don't know if ears of the woman from the Cain campaign are still ringing, but I tried my best.

Plus, I get to do that with candidates of both parties.

I believe that if you register as an Independent in Washington State, you can't vote in the primaries.
I'm sorry, but why would I vote for one of these clowns that the GOP has put on display so far?

My long OOP book, BASIL RATHBONE: His Life and His Films, has finally been reprinted and should be available for holiday giving.

You can pre-order a copy here:

This may not be the most professional video I have ever seen, or the best lip-synching; but it appears to be from the heart.  It was done by the crew of the HMS Ocean when they found out they would be home for Christmas,

George!   Watch this, you will enjoy it.

I did and I did!  That was great! :D

Wow!  Let's hope they are fast readers.

It may not matter.  Some of our e-book titles can't be checked in early!  Some get up to a three-week check out period and they only expire after that three week period...even if you finish it in one night. :P I think that most can be checked in early, but not all.

I had to ask the librarian how to return a book early.  She in turn had to have someone call & explain it to me.  Even though I return it on my Adobe Digital Editions site it doesn't always disappear from my Nook.  I have 3 different time options for taking a book but have it set at 21 days in case I need the book that long.  I always attempt to return the book once I'm done reading it.

There are 5 copies of this book, still that is one long queue I'm in.

My guess is, he got lost in the traffic and, as he seems wont. ended up in the gay cruising area of some park or rest area near Salem.  I suspect he's ether dating a truck driver or sitting in jail.

Regarding party affiliation--here in Virginia you do not declare one.  So you can vote in either primary.

Newt Gingrich now has a commanding lead in the Republican primaries?  Maybe Cain wasn't so bad after all.

That may be enough to keep me from watching the special.
