Not really!  That was a picture posted on Facebook by a friend of DR George (I went to high school with her mother).

It was?  You did?  Who posted it??

I got that JRB "Trumpet of the Swan" CD for Christmas. Haven't had time to listen to it yet. Hope it's better than 13.

Watching Tony Bennett's TV Special about the making of his new Duets CD.  He does sound great for his age. I'm enjoying most of his duet partners.

I have a package from amazon.com to pick up at the post office.  One of the items in the box is a book entitled "Benjamin Kritzer."  Looking forward to reading it!

From DR Jennifer:
Quote
DR Jane if you liked the Perfect Husband ... well the FBI profiler series only gets better and better as you get to know the main characters better and their stories develop. I love this series.

I didn't like it as much as the DD Warren series.  I'm glad you said they get better, which I suspected to be the case.  I have added them to my wish list at the library for eBooks.

I decided to read these before reading CATCH ME, which so far is not available through the library eBooks.  While browsing Barnes & Noble for it they recommended an Iris Johansen book since I like Lisa Gardner.  Have you read her?  B & N has her books for $7.99 each & then I found the next four books, 8-11, in the Eve Duncan series I have yet to read. The price was only  $19.99 for the book collection.  I started reading book 8 last night.

I think i like this series just as much as the D.D Warren series. I definitely think it gets better because from what i recall the relationships are not really explored much in the first book. I find this makes a big difference.

Sorry, I have not read Iris Johansen.

Watching "Moneyball" and am enjoying it. Best picture of the year? Naw, but a real crowd pleaser.

Good Evening!

Well...

I had a few errands to run earlier, and once I ran them, well...

I thought I had made plans for tonight, but...

Well...

So...

After wandering around for a while and making a couple of phone calls and sending a few texts, I ended up back on the Upper East Side and had hummus for dinner.

Exciting, huh?

The Monarch Scientist is going to bring me some caterpillars today. She has too many and trusts me to raise some.

In Honor of DR Laura:  Today I went for a walk roll and this is what I saw.

Ha ha! That's great.

That makes you a butterfly farmer.  What a cool thing to be

We don't sell them. The Monarch Scientist and I are only butterfly gardeners.

I guess I wasn't thinking about selling them, just raising them

Last night we watched MIDNIGHT IN PARIS.  While we enjoyed it we don't see it as a best picture.

We're going to see THE ARTIST at 4:20

In 3D?

Um No.  I don't think THE ARTIST is in 3D

I really enjoyed both The Artist and Midnight in Paris.   It took me a while to really get into The Artist, but it was good. I was very pleasantly surprised by Midnight in Paris.

Tonight I did the Amazon streaming rental thing through my Roku.  I watched A BETTER LIFE.  Good story about an illegal immigrant trying to build a better life for his 14 year old son.  Best Actor nom.

It's a free HBO and CINAMAX weekend on our cable.  Don't know if that's true everywhere, but thought I'd pass on a heads up

Hugo is back in town at the cheap theater. So, I'm going to try to see that, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and Iron Lady this weekend.  I may rent Tree of Life too.
