Well, you've read the notes, the notes were fresh and had eyes, and now it is time for you to post until the fresh cows come home.

Good morning, all! It was a very long night. I slept well, with many dreams, but it seemed to go on for years. All of my dreams were bizarre: working at Drama Book Shop to discover I'd arrived wearing only my underwear, deciphering who should sing what part in a Christmas rehearsal in which a reindeer was named Feckless (shades of Cold comfort Farm!), a dream in which my brother Randy was about five years old. I'm glad to be awake.

First thing, laundry, then I tidy the apartment, mop the bathroom and kitchen, and get to work on the Disc 4 liner notes.

Coffee first.

Oatmeal and coffee.

We watched the episode about Starr and the prostitute from Duchess of Duke Street last night. I love this series!!! We also watched the one about the dying man. Shades of Grand Hotel.

Saturday.....it is a bit rainy - so maybe there will be fewer than 350,000 people wandering the SuperBoil Village today.

I am annoyed that everyday on the news we hear from the SMUG woman who is in charge of the event bragging about herself and her almost ALL FEMALE staff and the great job they are doing.....she NEVER mentions the 8,000 volunteers who are doing the street work...NEVER....  I hope she enjoys her paycheck.  As soon as the event ends, she is off to run the Olympics somewhere.....my guess is that she won't even clean out her desk.....but leave everything for someone else to clean up.

Sounds good...but only a 1/4 cup of peanut butter?  You'd think that there should be more.  And if you wanted it to be a little easier, you could buy the chocolate pie crust separately.  I've had those and they are very good.  I've never seen Oreo Baking Crumbs for sale as its own product, at least, not here in the US.

I just use oreo cookies and take off the white parts. And then just put it in the food processor. Just takes a few minutes.

DR Jane, re: the kindle comment from yesterday.  There are some ebooks not available to Canada. But some people have found a very easy fix. If you change your address to US (very easy to do) then you can buy any book you want.

Does anyone here make cold pasta salads?  I want to make one tonight for tomorrow. But just wondering what to use as the dressing. Would you use mayo or not (i'm thinking not).

Mayo, yes. Salad dressing (oil, vinegar, herbs, etc.), yes.

I mean, even bk's Tuna Pasta Salad uses mayo.

I have gone ahead and ordered CLEOPATRA from Amazon.UK, the first time ever I've ordered from them.  I know, I know, will the excitement never end?

Saturday morning greetings!  I'll be E & T until later this evening because Richard and I are taking my Mom to see JERSEY BOYS this afternoon at Dayton's Schuster Center and she's taking us to dinner at the Amber Rose.  Her theatre ticket was our Christmas present to her and the funds for dinner were my sister's to her.
