We are back from a delightful day with my Mom.  Got to the Schuster Center in time for the "Backstage on Broadway" lecture about JERSEY BOYS by the chair of the musical theatre department at Wright State University.  Our seats for the show were great and we all quite enjoyed the production.  Of course, Richard and I had seen it in Chicago in 2009, but it was all new for Mom and she had a great time.  Afterwards we went to the  Amber Rose, a unique restaurant in Old North Dayton.

Here is an interesting meteorological phenomenon known as a skypunch.

DR Ginny, I agree-great picture! :)

The restaurant looks good except I didn't see much there for a vegetarian.  What did you have?

Im thinking that tomorrow I may go to two movies, WOMAN IN BLACK, which i hope will live up to the great BBC production from about 15(?) years ago, and ONE FOR THE MONEY. After a scare, I could use a laugh.

I had chicken paprikas with spaetzle and German chocolate cake for dessert (half of which I sent home with Mom).  Not at all heart healthy...

I used to make a great chicken paprika.  Even the vegetarian version was rather unhealthy.

No, but we do get some funny looks when Richard and I hold hands...

Yes, DR Jane, I opened the link and agree that you need to buy those sheets.  The few times it's gotten cold enough here for flannel sheets, we used only the top one with a regular sheet on the bottom and that worked quite well.

Hmmm, I'll have to ask Keith about using only one flannel sheet.  I don't use the pillow cases anymore while he prefers them.

This is the reason my side of the bed has twice as much fur in it as Keith's side, and why I stopped using flannel pillow cases.

I could complain about how much pain I am in, but that is probably one of the reasons that everybody else left the site.
