Speaking of libraries, how are things since the shakeup at work, George?

Oh...not too bad...we got a security guard today.

:o

Is that to keep the old boss "out"?

We were told that it's really a delayed reaction to last week's decisions and not due to any specific threat...it's just precautionary.

They wanted a confrontation on their show just for some drama. That is my opinion.
I actually disagree with this. His program is not like that. Whenever you present one side of the story you need to give the other side a chance to respond.  I am sure he/Turner would never go on tv. And while I think they should have warned DR Danise I bet they did not know seeing him would upset her. They probably thought that she would be happy that he would look like an ass on tv. I hope tha she spoke up to the producers and told them how she felt.

My grand-cat is so smart she can print information off the computer all by herself.  Our printer is in the laundry room off the kitchen.  We were all in the kitchen talking when we heard the printer start working.  Confused I went to see what was printing & found Craig's baseball info.  I didn't realize kitty enjoyed baseball as much as her father does.

Can we have a photograph of her printing out documents.

;D  I will ask DS Craig if he has one.

I don't think shaving off my beard has done me any favours. I'm going to grow it again. It helps if my face is hidden.

The few times Keith shaved his beard off I cried.  He doesn't do that anymore though occasionally he threatens to.   Craig has a beard now & I love it.  I'm glad you decided to grow yours back.  I like that 3 day growth look too.

I just heard from DR Danise. I will meet her in an hour at her hotel and we will go to dinner. She's a little stressed today; the tv people said they were trying to get Turner, the ass who caused all of her problems, to be on the program as well for his side of the story. She really doesn't want to be near him and she's frightened of him. He's a pig and a bully. She called her friend Thelma, whose advice was "he won't show; he wouldn't show up in court so why would he want millions of tv viewers to see his mug?"

She also did a bit of subway travel by herself today to Times Square to shop for friends, and I think she's going to be great on the program.

:)  I'm thrilled you are having dinner together.  I also agree with Thelma.  If he does show she should ask for protection.

I thought Anderson was above that. :-\

If he knows.  Has she talked to him personally or just his staff?

Therefore, my opinion of this Anderson Cooper guy has just gone down. That is my opinion.

Well, since I like Anderson Cooper and think highly of him, I suspect he's had no part in any of this. I'll find out if she met hm today or dealt only with the producer and research staff. While I agree she should have been told Turner might be on the show before she agreed to come to Manhattan, it is quite possible that they want to allow him to defend himself or present his side of the events. Here's this lady on the air telling about how some guy bilked her, stle her money, left her an unliveable shell of a house, and who's to say she's telling the truth? We know otherwise, but we're not the people this program is aimed at.

My sentiments.

Obviously, that is only my opinion, given the fact that Danise was shocked to find out that Turner had been invited. Seems suspicious to me. But I don't know from Anderson Cooper, so I will go by the opinion of those who do know and respect him.

I'm glad I vacuumed my car at home last night.  Today I went to the drive through car wash.  When I pulled up to the vacuum area to dry off my car the equipment had been switched & a coming soon sign.

I am back from a delightful dinner with our DR Danise. She spent several hours with the producer and various assistants being videotaped. She did not see Anderson Cooper and will not see him until tomorrow's taping. While we were at dinner, the producer called her and the jerk will not be coming to NYC to show his stupid mug to the world. Danise was greatly relieved by this news. As to her day, that's her story and she can tell you what she wants you to know about the events of the week.

It was great to see her, and we had a good two and a half hour visit. I personally think she could use some stressfree vibes, some emotional and physical healing vibes, and some travelng vibes ASAP!

Tonight's video is "Beginners," which arrived quickly at the library. I only placed a reservation on it Sunday night.

And on that note (Ab), I'm off to see the recorded-live Australian production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's sequal to The Phantom of the Opera set 10 years later, Love Never Dies!

;D

I'll have a report later!

I've been having all sorts of conversations about upcoming Kritzerland releases for the last two hours.  It looks like the Paramount pipeline will now begin moving faster, and after the next couple of releases, we hope to do at least one Paramount title a month from then on.  A lot of these will be B titles, but that's what I love.

Well this has not been a good day.

My brother in law got the FULL news at last.  He has Stage 4 Cancer of one lung, some lymph nodes, and it has invaded his bones.

He begins his chemotherapy on Thursday, but no radiation.

Just kind of makes my problems....seem like.....NO PROBLEM at all.
