I did not care for the images I found for Good Friday. Happy Good Friday was not amongst them. What does one say to someone who honors it?

DR DougR, I spent all day yesterday thinking it was Friday! Around 9:00, when GRIMM wasn't on, I realized my error. I blame it on a broken water main.

We don't really say anything. We just observe the meaning of the day. Certainly nothing like, "Don't get nailed on Good Friday."

We always seemed to have gloomy weather in Good Fridays when I was a youngen. Today it's beautifully sunny here in the South of Jersey. I guess the Catholic Church has given up on weather control because of the costs involved.

Adding to the gloominess of the Good Fridays of my youth, a local tv channel that ran a 4:30 movie would always show THE NEXT VOICE YOU HEAR. That movie scared the Dickinson out if me!

I saw that at the Public Theatre; it was a beautiful production. Elizabeth Swados had everything going for her except much ability as a composer.

I think they're too busy fighting the Republican candidates over who really knows God better.
