DR JRand61, you've been in my thoughts the past hour. i'm listening to the great Dorothy Provine and her Roaring 20s recordings. Just the best!

I ain't no native - I was born here!

?  ?  ?

LOL....that's what she replied to Tony Curtis in THE GREAT RACE when he asked her if she was a native of Burracho?

I'm up.  The cell phone actually rang at nine and despite my attempts to go back to sleep, it didn't happen.  Oh, well.  At tonight's show will be Pogue - first time I'll have seen him since I went to Indiana to see The Brain.  Hopefully we can have a meal or two this week.

Although this dvd says original UK version. ANd i have no idea what they have been showing here.

PBS tends to cut nudity, if there is any, and other things they find offenssive or off-putting in their "adaptations" of the British programs.  The amount of USA cuts depends on whether it comes from Boston or another PBS station.

I'm sort of confused because it says original UK version on the dvd. But there is all kinds of PBS/Masterpiece theatre stuff on the dvd.

And I didn't record it from PBS. There is a station here called Vision tv that replayed seasons 1 and 2. So i don't even know if they are showing the PBS version.

I ended up not starting it right away. I still have 2 more loads of laundry. But i have the dishwasher going.

Off to church, then to Annie this afternoon, then a par-tay here at the home place for orchestra members celebrating -- well, us :)
Sounds like fun.

The first Santana album was better.

They also cut language but in a helter skelter manner. When they first aired "Company," they bleeped words in the lyrics but the same words when used not in the dialogue. Go figure.

Went to the library. Still can't think of anything appealing to eat. What i feel like eating i don't have. And i don't want to go out again.

Jennifer, maybe you're looking in the wrong place? I sometimes have a fickle appetite, but I never thought of looking in the library.  ;)
