"Car 54, Where Are You?"  is my choice for a Broadway musical.

Back from a two-mile jog.  Felt good.  I ran by the house to the west of me and unless it's had some major redesigns I don't think it's that one.  However, it could well be the house next door to me on the east - I'll do further research, but the garage is in the right place there - just have to check out that front door and how it sits.

Would Bing Map's "birds eye" view, or whatever Google has, help?

Even with those, it can be surprisingly difficult to positively identify something.  I've had trouble with houses we lived in years ago.  I know which ones they are, but they become almost unrecognizable with just a few little changes.

For the last 7 hours a burglar alarm has been bleeping away near me, although I can't figure out which house it's coming from. I phoned the local council who said they would normally have someone come out and deal with it but he is off duty tonight. They said they will leave a message for him in the morning. Meanwhile I have to somehow try and get some sleep with this constant din.

I way overdid it yesteday.   I woke up in a lot of pain in the middle of the night.  I even had a dream that I went to an all night clinic and the doctor said "we told you it would take time".   Hrumph

I worked for about 5 hours at the office and came home and read some things for work for a couple more hours. Since it's over 100 degrees again today, I didn't mind sitting here

My "midday" absence didn't end until 5pm.  Mom's appointment was at 11:30 and we went right from the doctor's office to the hospital for a chest x-ray, then to pick up the prescriptions they'd faxed from the office, then to lunch, then to her apartment to order (and soon receive) the breathing machine that the doctor prescribed.  I wouldn't be surprised if she has pneumonia...

Michael Riedel is one of the entertainment writers at the Post along with Elisabeth Vincentelli and Frank Scheck. Riedel is more gossip and EV and FS share the reviewing though MR has been known to express an opinion about a show now and again.

DR Ben, you amaze me!  I have had some chicken noodle soup, and I will watch some tv and go to bed. Tomorrow morning, I will have breakfast at Cafe 82, move the 18 cartons to the lobby for the movers who will arrive between noon and 2 pm, and then head to Toyland to turn on the AC and wait for the moving crew to arrive. It will be a long afternoon.
