Well, you've read the notes, the notes were addictive, and now it is time for you to post until the addicted cows come home.

Hot oatmeal and a cuppa eaten in the coolness of Air Conditioning is not so bad.

Good morning, all! I slept poorly and I know that at some point this afternoon I will fall over in a daze. Even with two fans blowing on me, the apartment is too damned hot. If I don't go shopping for a portable AC this afternoon, it will happen tomorrow morning.

So, in 10 minutes I put the laundry into the washers, and I should be finished and on my way to Toyland by 9:00am.

I have nothing else to report for the nonce.

Opening night vibes for DR GEORGE & Co.   Break a leg, and let the blood flow freely!

New car vibes to DR CILLA LIZ.  Of course we need pictures.

And of course DR JOSE, we need photos of the wedding!

Today I will work for 8 hours....my first full day in almost two weeks.  Oh my.

And now I am a bit overextended......in the next two weeks I have the THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE rehearsals concurrent with the SEE HOW THEY RUN rehearsals.  A consultation for the wedding I will be presiding over, and the wedding itself on August 10...two weeks from today....taking individual cast photos for TMM and building the slide show for the production in addition to getting the news story for the show written and sent out.

At least once TMM is over, I will only have SEE HOW THEY RUN to deal with until rehearsals start for the USO "radio show" and THE CRUCIBLE.

I sound like DR JOSE and MR BK with this schedule.

Though I didn't expect to be saying it for another hour or so...

Good morning, all.

Slept weirdly, and got up early to put the trash out feeling run over by the proverbial truck.  I was going to go right back to bed for a while, but was enticed by the prospect of a fresh cup of cuppa, so here I am, and I will perhaps grab a nap later.  Yes, that shall be the ticket.  A nice nap.

I am very grateful to add that the weird sleep at least took place in some rather cold air-conditioning.

When it's hot outside like this I prefer my AC to be at meat locker temperature.

The laundry is in the dryers, and I will have a bit of breakfast.

I've been looking at various Manhattan appliance stores for portable air conditioners: PC Richard and Home Depot are the ones in the running at the moment.

I don't like this show much, but here's Michel Riedel's take on the first preview in Central Park:

Friday morning greetings!  Watching the Today Show for Olympics coverage.  Later this morning I have some errands and a haircut appointment at noon.

No!  I've never saw the clip that clear before!  I can't believe that it's been on YouTube for two years without me finding it!

Thanks mucho for that, DR TCB!

Is it just me, but these days whenever I see AC I think Anderson Cooper.

Hmmm, guess it is just me.

Something's wrong with my place holding functions on HHW, and I've messed up the thing that tells me what I've read and what I haven't read.  :(  So I have to go back and try to catch up as best i can.  Oy!  I hope I haven't screwed up my HHW settings in some way.  They seemed fine for years.  Or at least I'd gotten used to them.

Riedel once more proves what an asshole he be.  It's one thing to dump on a show in it's first preview (like future auto show spokesmodel Morgan James), it's another to do so when you weren't even in the audience to witness it yourself.  What a dick!

And it is time to head to Toyland!  I just booked an appointment with Social Security for Monday morning to deal with a tax return question that I thought was settled. I guess it wasn't!

Yawn on the Riedel piece.  Or at least on reviewing a show from the first preview. Hopefully, they have no place to go but up.

DVD: Chinatown, the Frighteners, Attack of the Puppet People
