This is the new love of my life, Harry, Annalene Beechey's six month old baby. Every morning I would go down to Annalene's room to play with Harry and visit with Annalene and her beautiful mother, who was babysitting while Annalene was in the studio.   Her daughter Rose stayed in London with her father.

Love the pictures, DR Elmore. I think that I especially love one of the trumpet players.

They all seem far too young for you, Mikey!

I am very versatile, DR Elmore.

Yeah. Sure.

Then I picked up one package, which was amazing since it was the Fed Ex I did yesterday - I paid for three-day express shipping and it arrived in one day.  GREAT service and now I know what I'm having for dessert: Chocolate licorice!

Got a beautiful card from John McMartin, the original Ben from Follies - he called the new mix a revelation and was just so complimentary.  And it would appear that he's back with his old girlfriend from when we did Forget-Me-Not Lane at the Taper - Charolotte Moore, since she also wrote on the card.  I'll try to see them when I'm next in NY.

Also enjoyed the photos of the old movie theaters. Such a shame that so many are gone now.

Well, the eye doctor told me that my left eye has IMPROVED from -8 to -7.75.  He said that happens sometimes to people my age.  It also makes him think that I am pre-cataract in that eye but it could take years before the cataract forms.  Right now, both eyes are very healthy.  Because the contact I was wearing was really to strong for that eye that may be why I am having problems with seeing numbers and such.  I got a sample pair of contacts to try.  He said it could go either way -8 or -7.5 there is nothing in-between with the lens I just have to "see" which works better for me.

Hearing is fine and normal.  The noise I hear could be from a number of things and the muffled sounds I hear could be cause I'm trying to drown the noise.

I've written half the contextual commentary, and I'll definitely finish it this evening.

In other news...

I got a call earlier today asking if I could cover a rehearsal tomorrow, and since I can, I will. It will be a full day of dance rehearsals for a production of Can-Can. Should be fun.

So, I try and stay away from anything political, I just don't care that much.  But I had to share this because we love a good parody around here and even though I don't follow anything political, I do hope we can make this happen.

I spy David Burnham!

I spy Damon Kirsche!

And...

Since I seem to be experiencing some sort of reverse jet lag - I'm really sleepy right now ??? - I think I'm going to start shutting down for the night. -Especially since I have a full day of rehearsal tomorrow.

Goodnight.
