I so much agree with today's Notes about the mumbling voices on screen today. I have to switch sub-titles on for most modern films because I can hardly understand a word the actors are saying.

Ah yes, I have to do the same thing.

Good morning, all!  I am off to Toyland.

DR Ben, I love that "Pickwick Papers" adaptation. It's such a fabulous production.

Monday morning greetings!  Today I have to get my license plate situation resolved and then do some Thanksgiving grocery shopping.  I'm not doing much of the cooking - just the turkey & stuffing - but there's still a lot to do.

To belatedly answer TCB's question yesterday, the stuffing is almost my single favorite thing on the Thanksgiving dinner table.  Like a good actor, its flavor and texture qualities are unique!

I'm up, I've announced, and I've approved the Broadway World pages and that should go live any minute now and then I'll provide direct links here.  I played the video and it looks fine - someone had a question if you have a choice to play it in hi-def but I believe that's automatic here at least it looks like it to me.  They even commented that the files I sent are MORE hi-def than they usually get but they're fine with the file size.  I must say that getting them the episode and not having to do the upload to You Tube will be a major plus.

"Pickwick Papers" is available by interlibrary loan. A request has been placed. It should be here in a week or so.

BK,

Frankly, I hated all of the BATMAN movies; the ones with Bale, as well as those with Michael Keaton, etal.

I recall seeing CAREER when I was in college.  As an aspiring actor, it have a profound effect on me.

I wish it was available on  DVD.

William H. Macy

Steve Buscemi
Philip Baker Hall

"Rocky Das Musical" is apparently a Hamburg hit.
