Congrats on the surprise birthday party, BK!  That's a great picture at the end of yesterday's posts!

Last night, I went to see a local production of Nuncrackers, featuring a friend of mine, Lauren O'Neill, who played Yoni in The Brain From Planet X, here in Olympia.  HOWEVER, for last night's performance only, Lauren didn't play Robert Anne...she wasn't there!  Evidently, this was a pre-planned absence from the run because it was in the program that Heidi Fredericks, the director would play the role.  She was very good, but  I would've liked to have seen Lauren.  Oh, well.

Otherwise, the show was cute and very well done...not hysterically funny, but still very good.  It seemed a little too scripted, whereas other iterations of the Nunsense story that I've seen that Capital Playhouse has done seemed much more improvisatory.

I have a day of volunteering and then I come back early to go to the office for my performance evaluation. At least I know it's a good evaluation so I don't have to worry.

I'm still counting the years until retirement.

That was the same thought I had about Nunset Boulevard. Too forced, too scripted.

I don't know if there are any Ethel Merman fans or Annie Get Your Guns fans, but here is a scene from the 1966 TV version of the show. I had read that this show was considered "lost". So I found it a real treat to see it.

Good morning, all!

Once again, I slept longer than I intended and I will shortly head out to City Center;  it's another day with Encores!, Joshie, and Lord knows who else.

BK, what a neat surprise!

More coffee!

As something of a cheeseburger fanatic, I occasionally read this site for inspiration, and look what I found this morning:

DR Vixmom, I actually like the watch. Only thing is I prefer silver to gold. How heavy is it? The trend definitely seems to be bigger watches for women.

As for the wallet, is that the color you got?
