I am off to the Opry.

On the way back, I'm hitting the market to get the makings of chicken soup.

It all depends on where you stay in the city. I found these:

http://www.bensdeli.net/

http://www.abigaels.com/

But there are a ton by googling "Kosher restaurants Manhattan."

Thanks.  I thought you might have a favorite place.  The person going does want to try a deli never having been to one.

Here's a trailer I created about a week ago for my friend, actress Marian Hailey-Moss.

We were students at the University of Washington Drama Department together.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We are back from a rainy, foggy drive to and from Lima.  Today it was my turn to provide refreshments, so I used some Pepperidge Farm coupons that were sent to me as a result of a customer service call about a defective product.  We had lemon cake, coconut cake, and assorted holiday cookies.  Also grapes and a mixture of unsalted roasted cashews and almonds.

Awaiting all packaging, which can then be hopefully sent in tomorrow for approvals.  I really hope all three get approved so that I can have a choice as to what the two new releases for December will be - want them to be the strongest, along with our Encore Edition.

Well, DR Jane, it takes a little will power.  I had just some grapes and nuts and 2 small cookies.  No cake, except for what I scraped off the serving plate as I was cleaning up.

Hello, everyone.

Druxy, I enjoyed your two trailers. I'd say they're just the right length, too. I've seen some that are just too long. This is better. Gets the point across quickly.

Back, with a rotisserie rosemary-and-garlic chicken from Stew Leonard's.  A bit of that, and then Cybele.

Today's service really wore Fr. Richard out because his up front assistant called in sick.  Richard usually gets a little respite during the scripture readings.

I'm not sure. Not that much.  It was day old so it was half price. I think they are about $2.50 for 6 that way.

I'm sorry, DR JRand62.  If I'd known, I would have sent you an email to thank you.

I am home from the opera and the market. I'll cook tomorrow.

The opera production was quite wonderful with an excellent student cast. The orchestra played beautifully, and I had a fantastic time. I sat next to an acquaintance I find quite peculiar and don't care much for.  I did see my longtime friend Charles whom I don't get to see often enough and John Graziano, a wonderful gentleman.

Tonight we are supposed to get our first big snow. Hope it's not too much. And i hope it melts fast. I like wearing my shoes (which I have been all but one or two days so far).
