I usually like to think I have better control than most when it comes to compulsive eating. But I really don't, and the Thanksgiving-to-New-Year's stretch is deadly. You start, and you can't stop.
What I need to commit to is which kind of dieting I'm going to tackle this time. I'm one who does fabulously on an Atkins low-carb diet, but what I really want to do this time is just cut down...on EVERYTHING. Certainly carbs, which go right to the ol' waistline on the likes of me. But...everything. I overeat and I binge eat, and I always think "I'll start tomorrow". Well, tomorrow is here, baby.
And of course one must exercise. That needs to be kickstarted into high gear.
